Amble was chosen by her who must be ignored (Bob checks to see where she is)..
Nah, I offered but the fishing thing I'd priced to the penny, I'd a poll going on the forum, and 66% would prefer an online one, they would have got colour throughout instead of just the outside cover.
I actually quit fishing a year or two earlier but stayed on to run everything, even built an online shop...
funilly, they still use most of the photos of the stuff on sale..(last I looked).

Golf club, even their present site is abysmal.......
I couldn't build anything now, I used Dreamweaver software and had a good backup with my son and a pal...
I also used Photoshop, the amount of times I had to doctor a photo of a large fish to hide the location LOL, more to keep pressure of any large specimen.
Long day so eyeballing awaits...
I have to use another app for magazines etc but something isn't right, I should pop into library and have a word, they have an Ancestry account you can access so I could tie up some family tree ends....
That's one way off getting out of choosing a name. It goes wrong you're not to blame either. (She weren't hovering nearby, when you posted?)
There's a locally published, four times a year pamphlet/booklet, new editor. Old one had to step down on health grounds and other commitments. That got a fancy colourful cover for the first few editions, then a price increase, doubled in price unannounced, now appears to be available online at the same price as the printed version. No longer bought, by me and a few others.
You still teaching worms to swim in yer spare time?
Suppose someone orders something that's in the old pictures. What'll you do...

I suppose there's some that don't see the trouble in producing the first one, of anything. Just that someone else thinks they can do it with less effort, whilst still being as good.
Nice of you to think about the fish...
Give them eyeballs a thorough checking.
I'm supposed to be able to use either app, but they don't offer the same as each other. Libby is one, forget the name of the other.
Ancestry library edition?

Pressreader is another app I have to use, yet my friend's library does it all through one app.
That would be much easier, PR insists on trying to sell me a subscription even though I'm there via the library infos...
I'd been reading a couple of magazines a month, ones I wouldn't buy, so even a random look through, they are getting something.
Might pop into library soon as the newspaper one could be handy, I already have access through the National Library for some newspapers, I keep popping in to see if I've missed anything. Libby is no problem...latest audiobook is playing well on it, a bit off the wall at times but you can see where the author is coming from..Last book before that was the two Bob Mortimer novels.. was impressed with his style of going down a what you thought a dead end and then boom, it's a major part of the story. I forgot, I got a book on Mallory and it was AI-written like a diary, which wasn't the intention. A couple of books recently have shown signs of AI..

I'm not but mentioned to Mrs M I could pass an hour or two dibbling a red maggot or two beneath a float next year, once I renew my licence, which nobody seems to buy, £6 pensioner cost...
2miles from the canal so.......

They will have the stock as its bog standard.stuff, I was surprised at how easy it was to set up the shop and payment stuff.
They had special access days to certain waters and payment then was much easier so people had dates to pay by and if you dragged your heels, there would be a queuing system and the place would be reallocated. I used to be waiting until 00.01am next day and reallocate the day if any reneged, no s*** taken. We-2 were talking 30 or 40 quid per person, two to a boat and a club had to pay for all the boats...Should have a booking fee non-refundable ( I say)

The airwaves await....and beans on toast..
Toodles has had Spag Hoops and the tomatoey small has set me off

Don't use any apps that didn't come installed on the handset.
Both apps in use in the local libraries here offer different titles, no overlap that I've seen with the same being offered by both.
See if you've become (in)famous and you were the last to find out. Don't think I'd manage a full audio book, listened to the start of a few and been put off by the way it was being read.
AI is all around these days. Bubble is going to burst soon though.

I'd be careful when you do decide to mention it. She might not appreciate maggots, whatever their colour near the house.
Cheap enough at that price. One rod only I assume. You still have yer fishing gear?
Why not...

You'd hope they'd have changed their prices since then though. Always thought they made it easy for you to get money from others. As long as you pay them from what you take.
You did right taking no c*** from anyone. Firm and fair to all, they knew when they signed up.
Or even a non-refundable deposit, given the club had to pay for the boats beforehand.

Owt as exciting as the beans on toast on the airwaves?
You never pinched Toodle's Noodles!

I could eat Kendal Mint Cake for Scotland too.
I shouldn't but I cannot resist...
I may try the Mint Cake infused rum later.....
Think they should hold a competition to see who should do that. Giving at least a week before declaring the winner.
Resistance is futile...
Rum infused mint cake sounds better.

No, she took two packets home with her yesterday...
She's having a sleepover tonight.

I forgot I'd one of Mr Fry's latest books, sorry, binned after 15 minutes.....

The internet and social media are ideal for any club now,
info out almost instantly,
meetings can be zoomed (or the latest fad video thing)
Payment of fees, I'd built that in and it was much easier all round for everyone, slight cut to the pal of pay, you could donate 50p towards the fees is required. esp with it being a national club, an AGM each year just up the road from here. Members all across the country so a fair central spot.
I got carte blanche to set the date for the 'special access days', they knew roughly when the bookings would open but I'd do random times like 4am in the morning etc and NO one knew except me...funny thing was you would always get somebody who'd take the hump about something, I'd a rule on the forum, no swearing, one bloke started threatening this and that, legal involvement etc but we'd young uns as forum members (closed to members), I met him when I moved through here on the canal LOL, nice as ninepence..
One club I knew, stocked the dams with trout and told nobody but you could tell when the committee were all fishing during the week on the same day.. and they kept denying it....

maybe a cider instead, we'll see.
(rumour of choc peanuts downstairs, sssh)

Took her noodles home, for safe keeping no doubt.
Sleepover, at your house. Does that mean no playing radio in your room, upstairs.

Take it you didn't like it. One advantage to one borrowed, don't like it you can always hand it back. Nothing wasted but time...

Won't disagree on the almost instant availability. But there's always the risk of digital exclusion, if it's only online. Then you get folk like me that want to do it the old fashioned way.
I think Teams has overtaken Zoom at the top for online meetings. Could be wrong though, worth checking before investing yer hard earned cash...
You'd done yer homework before you started then. Monetary extraction available online...
You ever get to use your work before they said "No" to it? You got to choose the timings, as well as when the bookings opened! Did they know what they were letting themselves in for?
No need for swearing when you know there's kids online, or there's a chance they'd see it later. And no need of threats, of any sort.
Did he know exactly who he were talking to at the time you met, or did you let it slip...
Did you ever feel like putting their times up, let everyone have a decent chance.
maybe a cider instead, we'll see.

Well, rum or cider mint cake?
Were earlier rumours proved true?

Good boy, had a coffee, some nuts and a danish...
She loves noodles...possibly a vegetarian (at two).

I was just playing a game with them, opening it up at weird times but as you'd guess, once opened it would be closed asap by jungle drums LOL, as long as the money was deposited.
Funny thing is I couldn't remember how to do it all again, my oldest was a major help if I had a problem..

I was on data tonight for a while, no sound required, only coming into the radio then to computer and decode...

Off early, hopefully not wanting me to get up at 5 to play...

And what did you get?
You could change her now you know. She might end up enjoying your McMuffins, taking it off your plate.

They must have liked you doing that. Closed once all the boats were booked?
You've had to clear some space for all the stuff you've filled it with since.

Just a quiet beep, as though it were on life support. Thereby keeping noise to a minimum.

You get off, she'll have you up early...

Early ? 4.55 am but she went back down to snooze again, back of 7 so not bad...
Mrs M took over..
Nurse again, then a call regarding my next big hossie visit, all good.....

Must go later and work on unblocking my printer nozzle, got some gunge out yesterday..
Might have to put a new nozzle in place.

When you think of all the manual paperwork needing done before the online option.
Then ? all typed or handwritten, bank visits...
now all paperwork is done instantly, with money straight into the club bank account, etc.
proof of booking, email receipt etc.

She's going to town calling me Bob, now wee Toodles is attempting it...

PS I visit the nurse, dressing change...and for the near future as well.

You call 4:55 early? You get back to sleep. Not quite as early as I were thinking though.
What'd you do without her...
Here's for continuing good news on the hossie front.

Can't you apply heat and force anything in it back out, when not on the printer. Or is that considered as part of the lifespan.
Tricky do?

Printed forms filled in and returned. Cheques written out, envelopes and stamps...
Still to fill it out online though, cut and paste from a saved document for name and address... Still don't do online banking though missen.
You could have the form in the first post of the day with you posting the times at 4am though.

Not "Grandpa" or "Grandad".. She'll get there, as will her younger half.

Doesn't sound good, as though it's not clearing up.
