Good morning (it is in New Yoik) :hello:
Been busy, a bit of gardening..
Owdo
It'll be night in Hong Kong then.
Last of the stones put out, the fence painting, the start of removing all the leaves for the next few months...

You call 4:55 early? You get back to sleep. Not quite as early as I were thinking though.
What'd you do without her...
Here's for continuing good news on the hossie front.

Can't you apply heat and force anything in it back out, when not on the printer. Or is that considered as part of the lifespan.
Tricky do?

Printed forms filled in and returned. Cheques written out, envelopes and stamps...
Still to fill it out online though, cut and paste from a saved document for name and address... Still don't do online banking though missen.
You could have the form in the first post of the day with you posting the times at 4am though.

Not "Grandpa" or "Grandad".. She'll get there, as will her younger half.

Doesn't sound good, as though it's not clearing up.

I'm usually doing a crossword at that time...

Its like radio and the act of QSL cards, still done the old way, bunch of actual cards, filled in etc, sent to Bureau, cards stacked in countries then sent abroad, there they separate them into batches to be sent to QSL managers (say GM4 - GM7), sent out then the manager separates to each individual call then packs envelopes (we supply ready to be posted (SAEs).
I'm sure there has to be a way that it could all be done digitally. There are some electronic websites, but the worry of people faking contacts kind of kills that. Technically, there is no need for a physical card (says he who has sent over 2,000), I only reply to what arrives for me.
If someone has the goodness to send me one, it is only proper I return the favour. The main award program is the ARRL LoTW (US based), you option to join..I upload my daily log, it gets cross-checked and next day I download any previous contacts that are verified and I can check what my standings are, not all use it though. Complicated

I don't mind, I called my dad by his name too...
Think a chippy tea tonight....

Trouble staying asleep?
And I bet you do the crossword online, not with pen on paper.

You ever thought of applying for one of those manager posistions?
You should have got the sorting out to a fine art by now.
If AI comes into the system they should be upto spotting the contacts where there's been no contact. A similar log from your contact should exist for instance. None and it doesn't get counted.
Suppose there's no quick code to confirm they want a card sending or not.
If it went computerised, do you feel you'd be going up or down in the standings. And would yer hard working in producing a printing template not be wasted?
Either way doesn't sound easy, one can give you writers cramp, the other RSI.

Yer been teaching her bad habits again by sound o'things...
Chippy tea! What price are they up those parts.
