Ello sweetieAh, good evening (9)
Hey Mrs D
I was doing it to keep count due to my bad memory. I've stopped now as it's just a reminder of the stupidity of the situation.Yep, but I'll not be doing it. The least bad spirit on public show on any thread in the forum and it's the only restricted one. Go figure.
Yay! I got very good at doing that in college lol.Good news from last night is that I've now got that 3500 word piece down to 1600! Just need to chop off another 500, then I can submit it.![]()
Thanks @Saluki. I often think there should be an 'oh dear' as well as a 'like' for posts! How is your flat swap progressing?
All the very best!Good afternoon @Bobby Mhor ,@IDMark2 ,@welsh dragon, @classic33 (hope you are asleep right now @classic33) and anyone else looking in. Most dreadful night. Woken at 4.30 am by my son having psychotic episode and trying to smash the house up, ranting and raving. Hurt his arm and spattered blood everywhere ---walls, floor etc. I just finished clearing it up. Seems like everything is going pear shaped right now! But hey-ho, I'll carry on posting earring of the day, regardless.
That must be a nightmare! Apart from the normal moving stuff you have the hospital stuff too!The paperwork is in for the flatswap. Now we wait. Have my fish-tank on gumtree (cue moronic texters offering a tenner and will we deliver up 76 flights of stairs in Timbuktu). Someone coming for the lawnmower tomorrow, no interest in garden furniture as yet but will get out there and take better pics tomorrow if the sun shines.
Money is incredibly tight as we were not expecting to get an exchange quite this quickly and our swap partners would like to move as fast as humanely possible.
I have been sorting out the for sale stuff all day. Apart from walking the dogs and going across to the Sunday Market for some fruit, I've barely been outside and it's been such a nice day.
Our HA are a smidge hopeless at the best of times. Our Community Officer chap is a very pedantic chap who crosses every T and dots every I and then double and triple checks everything. He couldn't hurry if his office was on fire. In some way, this is a good thing as things get done right, however - and I have this on good authority - he has cost at least 3 people an exchange as they have got so frustrated with his sluggishness. The HA have to let you know, one way or the other, in 42 days. This C.O. will use every minute of every day, which then means that when they say 'yes', because there is no reason for them to say 'no', that we can then organise the dialysis side of things. His faffing, when we moved in, meant that we had to go up and down the A14 to Norwich to dialysis for a month and a bit. The Cornwall hospital are being very positive but the Ipswich lot seem to want us to do all the organisation. We'll ring the Consultant again in the morning so see if he is going to contact the Cornwall end. Obviously, the Cornwall Consultant needs to have some sort of a dialogue with the Ipswich lot
It will all sort though. It always does.
So glad it's a post limit and not a word limit![]()
I am sure it will. The Cornwall lot seem a lot more 'on the ball' than Ipswich. Bigger until at Plymouth so we might have to go to that unit before something becomes available at Bodmin, but that's perfectly doable. That must be a nightmare! Apart from the normal moving stuff you have the hospital stuff too!
I hope it all goes well!
