When we were kids, the parents used to get us to count all the motorbikes and all the push bikes that we saw. We would have a pencil and paper and do tally scoring. Left for motorbikes and right for pushbikes. This has left me with a natural inclination to notice motorbikes and real bikes when I'm driving. Maybe all parents should have the bike spotting game for their kids.
Obviously there are plenty of people out there who think that we are the cockroaches of the road and should be shot at birth but at least they will register our existence before the close pass.
What a great bit of parenting - a neat idea. :okay:

I'd QUOTE="Smithbat, post: 4272585, member: 42765"]I see what you mean, do you think it would be best for me to go to my LBS and ask them to do it for me? Him Indoors is not home for 2 weeks so I cant ask him.
I'd pop into hallfords and ask how much they would charge to fit them! But they are running free bicycle maintenance class for ladys this week so mabe you could go and they could help you fit them and pick a few tips free!
I have got in touch with my LBS where I bought the bike from. They will fit free for me so I am off up there Thursday after work to get some
