I use cinnamon in a fruit loaf, I used to buy Schwartz ground cinnamon but was in Aldi and picked up their version, finer ground and more pungent. You get the aroma (?) as soon as you slice the loaf but the taste isn't overpowering.Good evening from Maidstone. The lawn (calling it a lawn is a stretch of the imagination) has been cut. Cinnamon Buns have been cooked. That was an adventure in itself, as I misread the recipe and cut the dough strips the wrong way, ending up with yards of dough to somehow 'tie into a knot'. It sort of worked in the end. I will show you a photo tomorrow.

Mind you, I do love a cinnamon bun with icing etc etc...
