Not fair, not fair!

Please don't tell me that they are stuffed full of thick homemade marzipan, Motobecane. Please. That would be too much torture. Tell you what, if you just say that they've been left out and gone horribly soggy, that would probably help. Either that, or say you made them with margarine. Or that the dog ate them...........

I don't even notice them. I guess the only discernible difference is that the dump/ recycling place will be crowded on Monday, when ordinarily it would be quiet.

Wet? Windy, but nothing wet about the day until well into the evening:

This little corner of England gets about 22" of rain a year. That's not very much. We had a bit of hail the other day, and that's the only moisture we've had in nearly 2 months.

True, but Monday is due to be dry all day. Honestly, the wheat is going to wilt in the fields if we don't get some proper rain soon. This is starting to get serious.
