Morning all:hello:
I think I may just watch the whole shebang on Le Tour today, looks interesting as over 4,000 metres of climbing:ohmy:,

Think another:cuppa:
Enjoy your Sunday:okay:

One hell of a stage, it had everything, it was brilliant in terms of racing.
Just have to cast a thought to the poor lads who crashed and hope they recover quickly, and also to the 10 that failed to make the time cut after that slog.

Morning. We have dull and drizzly again. Today and tomorrow is much the same. Just hoping it remains at a drizzle as my new windows are getting fitted.

Another coffee then I better go and extract Tia from her bed and move her through to the living room and try and get her settled before they arrive.

I'll maybe head over to visit dad later as I don't fancy listening to all the hammering and banging and they are a local and trustworthy firm so no worries about leaving them I don't think.

Domestics call,
Better get everything up to scratch before the women folk return:rolleyes:
Had intended heading NE but a blip in the plan:sad:

I think the organisers should take a long hard look at themselves, as soon as I saw trees down that descent, I thought no esp after they mentioned the previous rain but then the riders should have known the conditions, it's a high-risk sport and dangerous, it t6akes one small error and Porte's crash then nearly taking out the Martin fella highlights but I wish they would stop showing repeats after repeat, continental TV is bad for that.
They say the Ritchie fella could be back riding for August:ohmy:, amazing.
I feared the worst for the lad.
It goes on...and brings home the danger the amateur or us bimbling cyclist potentially have.
Take care out there.

Tell me about it. Three years now and I still have flashbacks of that few seconds knowing how hard I was going to hit the ground and then the sickening pain and nausea as I lay there not knowing how much damage I had done. Certainly makes you more cautious.
