Explain the 25th December then......

OK. The numbers rise sequentially at the rate of one number per day (which itself is one revolution of the planet on its axis) until they get to the allotted maximum for the month. December, for instance, has 31 days. So, it goes December 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th and so on for a few weeks until you get to December 23rd, 24th, and then, unsurprisingly, it's December the 25th. The following day will be the 26th, and the counting starts all over again at midnight on the 31st.

Hope this helped.

Partially correct, you've ruled out leap years.

Morning TD & WD, and all the fine folk of tea land. Today I am faced with the glorious prospect of not having to sit and draw. Not even for a minute. I'm not even opening the programme. Quick cuppa here with tea friends, then I'm out to walk the dog (*a complete nervous wreck after an amazing night of thunder and lightning), then work on the house for the day. If the phone rings, I'll tell them I'll try to squeeze whatever they want me to do in in September. Or October.
