made a banana loaf yesterday, it looked well risen in the bread tin whilst cooking and it eventually collapsed too much liquid banana?or more flour?

I had that happen to me as well. Too much liquid i think. Makes it go all soggy and mushy. Less banana

A lot of the hedges around here need chopping back. Just waiting for the farmers to do them.

Then you cant ride your bike for fear of punctures.
It is a lose lose situation once they start hedge cutting over the next couple of months

The farmers here are really good. They tend to pick up most of the cut off stuff. You don't see much on the roads here when they are done.

There is always the fear of that one little one waiting to cause you a puncture.
Some clear up well others do a half hearted job.
Once you get to know of an area it pays to steer clear for a week or so I find

I just liquidised the ripe 'nanas a bit much...
Agh, the dreaded hedge bomfording..I just turn back or avoid these bits until all the debris blows into the side.
Most farmers, local authority don't clean up after them.
I came down a back country road today which I only descend if dry as the road down from the farm is covered in 'the usual', wet its a nightmare and messy. Of course, where dung and tarmac meet, potholes and a bad surface appear..
