Morning WD.
Did you notice how, out of respect for Wales, I didn't use "the size of Wales" as a way of measuring Yorkshire yesterday? The standard scales are a gnat's thingamejig, a tennis court, Wales, and, sometimes, Texas. For example, the surface area of human lungs are about the size of a tennis court. Or, the world loses an area of rainforest the size of Wales every year. And so on. So when we were discussing why it takes 3 days to ride across Yorkshire but only one day to ride from York to London it would only have been natural to judge both distances in terms of Wales. I'll take your gratitude for not invoking such a comparison in the form of a rich fruitcake, please, with thick home-made marzipan and some Royal icing. Ta.
