Very few bees this year.
Have you tried telling your whitebeam it's winter. They reckon talking to plants is good for them.

Does anybody talk to you Mr Classic

Two cards in the one envelope, but I was thinking of a drink for each one.

He could end up in a bit of a state if he's got a load of mates :laugh:

Nah, kids nowadays think its beneath them to carry out buckets of water and throw it down the pavement.
A crazy thing to do when you think about it plus you always had some old busybody out throwing salt on it.
Used to throw it down an entrance road, gates at the top. Water came from the nearby brook.

Last time we did it, we banned the use of coats & plastic sheets. Along came someone who knew better, ended up hitting a kerb at close on 20mph before continuing on for a further 100 yards.

Broke his legs when he cracked the kerbstone, in his attempt to stop.

We used metal trays.
I remember more than a few breaks mostly through general daftness
