The odds are in favour of driverless trains appearing before driverless cars.
Easy fund it. First go to driver only, then say they're(drivers) are surplus to requirement.The technology exists and some of the underground trains only have the driver to intervene if required, however its the cost and who is going to fund it, so as I say I will be long retired by the time it happens.
