"Getting in line" as I've heard a couple of undertakers call it.I stopped at a junction yesterday to let a funeral pass, car at immediate rear tooted me, growl then he got a mouthful, if you can't wait for a minute, he did the usual dropping the gear to scream past me, hand signal was appropriate I thought...
With a motorcycle chain and lock slung over the shoulder, I've made one or two think about doing anything. When it's been taken off and held in the hand.I find smiling and waving is the best response. It keeps me calm and makes them madder than anything else I could do...
Were you born in Yorkshire?Dual nationality, remember? I'm half Yorkshire.
Were you born in Yorkshire?
Not Yorkshire then.Alas no, my parents were in Bristol at the time.
We're at least five generations Yorkshire folk though, although the earliest was an incomer, possibly a Scot, as the were from Dundee, but then, they had a German surname.
It looks like we've a long history of making life complicated.
Not Yorkshire then.
Phew, lucky escape thenNot Yorkshire then.
He's planning on visiting and it would have made things so much easier at the Port of Entry.Phew, lucky escape then
You mean the Scottish link with German names, who may have hailed from Ireland? Not, 'Bloodborn' to coin a phrase...
Actually I'm probably more Celtic than Yorkshire...

No, it's the Scottish - German link(Mentioned by yerssen), on top of the Scottish - Irish link*, with Bristol connections in Yorkshire.I remember you mentioning that before. What was the Irish/German name connection?
How can the County Town be seperate from the County?True, but as @Bobby Mhor points out, one should always look on the bright side.
Besides, York is now a separate entity from Yorkshire isn't it? They'll need to make the A64 a Transit corridor like they did for Berlin, and search all vehicles entering the city.
