At this rate you'll have everything moved over by the end of the year. Out off the old, into the new.

Yes, it's starting to look that way. When the small items are all over to the 'new' we'll get stuck in to the cleaning again - that'll take a few days.

We're onto the final countdown from 10 to the day of the removal men shifting the furniture. Once that's done it'll be a nervous time while we wait for our sale to complete.

You actually leaving anything for the removal company to move?

Cleaning your current location before moving. You've not been cleaning as you went along, or making a mess as you moved.

Just bigger items, beds, tables, sofas, white goods etc will be left to the removal men.

The cleaning of the old place will be left until it's empty as we will have a few days minimum to do that and I recon it'll be easier to do when the place is empty.

I didn't get an exact completion date for the old so I could have up to 2wks to hold my breath!! The speed of the refurb depends on the release of the additional funds so it will be a nervous time - never mind that the mortgage is very high until I can get a big lump sum payment made!

The whole thing keeps my head in a whirl. I have to care for Mrs B full time too as the Day Centre is closed until after NY. At least she can help a little with this kind of work and I do so enjoy her company when we're doing things like this.

Never said don't kick it, just vary where you kick it. They may put some reinforcement in that spot. You might hurt your toe!

Spent the evening using some of my bubble wrap mountain to wrap ornaments and crystal glasses etc., while watching TV.

Now got a 'fragile' car load for tomorrow.

Mottos for tomorrow - 'handle with care' and 'drive carefully'!
