We drove home mid evening (after dropping something off) and took the high road and enjoyed a drive through lots of snowflakes..
Hasn't come to anything, roads were wet from an earlier shower so might be iffy out there.

Dropped below freezing here around 2am, just as the snow was easing. It had stopped by 2:30am.

Dropped below freezing here around 2am, just as the snow was easing. It had stopped by 2:30am.

We've had plenty practicing for tomorrow, when they have greater freedom, over the weekend.

'Morning folks

We had a lot of sunshine during Sat/Sun but it was very cold and we had the lightest attempt at snowfall off/on through Sunday. Warm and sunny today though. Just as well the weather is good today as it may be a hose-down shower in the garden later!

The tilers are in and one wall is done - looks very well indeed. I have to say I'll be glad to see this job completed as it's been one of the worst for noise and inconvenience. It's been bad as far as dust/debris is concerned too. I hope the new bathroom will outlast us as I wouldn't want to do it again!

You survived the weekend with no bath then.
We'd an attempt at snowing made. Some places, locally, getting nearly three inches of it. Only to have it disappear within the day.

Be careful how you say "having a hose-down in the garden", folk might just think you're saying you're having a hoe-down in the garden. Party time!

Hoedowns and on the tiles, be careful.

Shouldn't need doing again, unless you change your mind over the colour/pattern, you should be safe. Getting caught short can get tricky, leading to odd dancing steps being performed.

4 gave me HF privileges, 7 gave me 50 mhz and up (VHF to Microwave) privileges, the morse test was eventually done away with..
You had to pass the RAE exam anyway to get either..

Spent more than enough time looking for a decent set of screwdriver bits for my drill, more than enough cheapo fakes out there methinks...
Anyhoo, couple of new rockery plants dubbed in and replaced some stone which cracked during the winter, avoid lumps of Cotswold stone..
