I'm a canal fan...
Only the Monklands and Crinan to cycle for the full Scottish set...
ideal walking as well, plenty wildlife etc.

I always try for early appointments, this one was a cancellation offered yesterday..
Have to go back as something wasn't at full capacity:laugh:
I need more:cuppa::laugh:

We have some dirty grey clouds passing over..
the washing manager is in 'will I won't I hang out the laundry' mode:laugh:

My youngest dropped me off a wee Minion 'Bob' figure, booyah:bravo:
Oh, couple of Yoiksha contacts on 40m including a Lord.....

Toodlepip!!! almost Le Tour type.
I'm having a French themed day tomorrow as it's Alpe D'Huez day:cuppa:
They tend to be flat as well.
You've time to get them yet. Get management to run you to a starting point and go from there.

Early appointments, how early?
Yer'll need resting up in between visits. Doing as little as possible.

Clear here, with no sign of the thunderstorm promised.
Tell management to just get it out on the line. Should it start raining, you'll let them know.

Which one?
Boycott!

Enjoy yer cycling

Not too early today then.
All present and correct.
Will you be fed before the plants.

You never know, one day... Maybe...

You never took the time to do all yer work quickly, and get home early.
That good today you'll put yer feet up tomorrow?

Now things make sense. You put a load of cards in the post with no postage and your address on the back, as the return address, and they deliver them back to you.

Nothing at all done!
That early start, and late finish, and nothing done. I dunno...

Only a bit. Was it at least a good bit.

Have a lazy day, feet up in front of the telly, again.

Way down south, where the sunshine is. I'm glad I'm not paying the postage on that lot.

Sleepy time, this early?

You'll have yer King of The Mountains jersey on.
Plants'll be going hungry, whilst you have yer breakfast
T'other side of the world. Atmospherics in your favour this morning.
Then you've to post them.
Ah well, it'll be something to do.

I actually have a KOM jersey somewhere, doesn't fit though...
I took a flakey and fed them all even did some domestics as well whilst I waited on Le Tour..
Got two letters today with different appointments for the same thing at two different locations and then when I called I found there was a third appointment made for another date....I did check to see if any signed by either a Mr Burke or a Mr Hare, well they did work on the nearby Union Canal:cuppa:.
Just think how much they'd make if they sold me by the kilo:laugh:

Did tha borrow it or win it?
Extra brownie points for doing the domestics I hope.
How far apart are the two locations. Just in case. Were third one at another, possibly unknown, location.
In't that the canal you cycle alongside, if so be careful out there.
Probably not that much.

T'is a grand morn...

It is!
How'd you get round toast for this all round breakfast.
Lunch! You've only just had yer breakfast. Maybe elevenses instead.

Okay "Cinders". You'll get to the ball, but what about getting home.
Scary bridges, they bite you or something?

Scary indeed,
most are slow down, ding yer bell like 'ell and make your way through, they 'kink' to the right then immediate left again, no knowing if anyone coming opposite way..unless they ding too:ohmy:
It also has the Dark Tunnel, well named and I just go up over the top of it, badly cobbled and always wet and slippy. Poorly lit and very narrow path.
Nice flat run though, I did it through to Edinburgh and back years ago...

Mrs left orders I have to have bacon and egg on toast...
that'll do me...

very light rain on and off..
Le Tour wins today again...

Scary sounds like fun.
Narrow paths not made with cycling in mind. How close to an unexpected wash have you got.
"The Dark Tunnel" sounds like it could be a fun place. Have a recording of a horse on cobblestones playing as you go through. Get them wondering what's coming their way.
How much longer is your diversion round it?

You had your bacon and eggs on toast yet. Wouldn't do to disobey orders.

No rain, but the ever present threat of rain hangs in the air.
Ow's the cycling going?
