Something called a Cryptex....easier just googled
I thought the last parts were smaller bits, nope, I've a fair bit of printing to do yet, I might be finished sometime tomorrow.....................maybe
I'll see if I can cut the time down on this part I'm printing....
I don't see the bloke until Friday so hopefully I'll have it all done, hopefully

The base is 220 mm x 220 mm but may be 200 mm without checking.
I can't do 220 x 220 mm size..
I must have a shuffty

They say 220 x 220 x 250 mm..
I'd be more comfortable with, say, 200 x 200 x 220 mm.

Off to decide today's plan..
Outer Rings all day:laugh:
Just done the same as yerself, googled it. Da Vinci code, and they don't come cheap.
Just as well yer not doing the final assembly, much head scratching may be involved.
Hopefully...

I were with nothing for a comparison, it were hard tell how big it were.

You decided yet?
You could change/or add lord of the rings to your name.

Could call myself Bobo Baggy-yin:cuppa:
Yeah, being left for him to assemble..
Inner Ring seemed to print okay, down to 3 hours each.. 7 left to do
I still need the support though so a wee bit tidying after it is done....
We are 55 hours in now and counting:eek:

GC coffee trip with a big jammy, creamy scone:eek:
Some hefty downpours out there..
Aiming to avoid them..
Toodles and gang could appear...

Smashing dishes and breaking plates...
Could he not clean up the pieces as he's assembling it.
All yer rings printed now.
Two days, is that constant time on the printer or total time spent on it?

GC and a creamy, jammy scone. What more could you ask for...
We'd light rain early on and not too bright a day, but otherwise a dry day. No showers to avoid.
Did the peace get shattered...

Inner rings, 5 made so one due finished 23.30 so just going to carry on to get the 8 done...
One last part, Lock Ring (x8) to still make so I'll be glad once it finishes, been an experience..
Learnt a couple of things out of it though..
I'm going to do a couple of samples, like an outer ring and an inner ring at the normal print settings, just out of interest..
Time after the 8th Inner ring? approx 67 hours
I dunno what the Lock Ring will take but it is the smallest in size so.......we'll see.

I'd tiramusu and fresh strawberries earlier...lovely.
Possible GC tomorrow for some bedding as we put up some lattice wood on fence and have 8 little tubs to fill and hook on..
I'll let Mrs M choose what she wants...

There's a good bit gone into this piece, and it's not even been assembled yet. 11 rings left to print, not including the one being printed?
That patience is a virtue, and in short supply at times...
How's the different printer settings affect the strength of the finished piece?
Nearly three days printing. Would you do another anytime soon.
All pieces bagged as they're printed...

What price fresh strawberries these days.
Could you argue that you find your bed comfy, especially on early wet mornings, without risk to yourself.
Will she choose before or after the cafe has been visited?

Good morning :cuppa:
Just made it:whistle:
Another busy morning, earlyish start..
Just had a late brekkie (porridge)..
Enjoy your day
Owdo
You'd not cut it as fine as some mornings...
You didn't try the "you find your bed is comfy" bit then.
Microwavable or old fashioned?
And the same to you. I'll try...

You need to slow down a little, relax when the boss and Toodles aren't around.
Do that and you can guarantee it'd run out whilst you were sleeping.
Any need to rush these days. Wise Man say "Good things come to he who waits".
He's still waiting.
Leave a piece out as an extra piece of the puzzle for him.
If you don't forget summat, you should.
GC's not as good these days. Out and back in a matter of hours.
Bob Agogo, new name by deed poll?

Plants all fed, stones in the right place(Non left unturned)
You hoping.

Thought you'd be a traditional porridge man.
GC's open that early?
It gives you more time to do the things you couldn't because work got in the way. Painting fences, chipping the garden...
Microwave creates the same dish...
saves mucking pots etc..
Busy Bob....

I head out early as I have a restricting pill to take daily...
It gets things over and done with..
Mind you, the grass/clover badly needs cutting, maybe tomorrow, maybe not.
One print is just finishing, and only four more to do.
Been an experience..
I redid a couple of the files at .2 and half the time easily....
I will do a sample print at .2....just for research and to compare..
I'll be up early as to finish it off unless an early out which is likely..
Off to tidy up piece then off to eyeball Alice....

Busy Bob must make/have time to make, and eat, his porridge the proper olde fashioned way.

I know those "restricting pills" only too well.
Until something else is found for you to do...
Could you hire/rent/borrow a sheep for a day or two a month.
Thought you were on yer last one earlier today! Nearly done now though...
How much of a difference to the finished pieces does that printer change have on the parts printed using it.
Up early, and out the door is my guess. Printer won't be in use 'til you get back.
Can sell you a spotting scope if you want a closer view of Alice!
