It'd have been interesting on the job front in negotiations. No jobs would be lost, if the bases remained open and active.
Down on the south coast, where all the naval bases are, would have been the best place logistically. Wales would have been out of the question due to Irelands proximity.
Mabel's hair would have been better red, white and blue. Rinsed or not...
The "objections" heard the most, by myself, about relocating them southwards was property prices would plummet, followed by insurance would increase.
Should the worst happen, would you really be making an insurance claim, much less thinking about moving to another area!
It(nuclear power) never brought us electric too cheap to meter, and if it could they'd only increase the standing charge.

How many satellites are orbiting that hill to the north?
So you're now watch those watching you, watching them. Is there any means of identifying what you may be tracking, or is it a fixed output signal yer getting.
Is the headphone lead in the output socket or the input socket?
Free! You should have got two. It's not a testing version, where any bugs are found by users.
Hope you didn't keep anyone waiting...

Aren't OFGEM not trying to do something about the standing charge?
Of course, over cosy dinners, paid holidays and other incentives, it'll still stay in favour of those who 'pay' for these..
Yeah, all the crap about nuclear electricity costs, it'll be cheap as etc etc..
Why not just seal the HoC and use the waffle from the MPs to power something.
I feel for the cleaners who have to barrow it out...

My late dad always said the colour of tie they wear only suits the constituency's historical voting..
Our long sitting at the time? just another chancer my Dad said...
It doesn't matter your political leanings, human nature and greed will always surpass them..
I'm sure there have been genuine folk in the HoC but not many,
It's a grift..
You can see that now with blue lot defecting quickly to the Nigel mob as they know that gravy train has sailed.

No more of that subject, rant over...
I've never used the hobby computer as the audio thing is all tied up permanently with my radio stuff,
this prog is impressive (and free) but still in Beta
My politics lean crimson red, but I know, as you see in the former Iron Curtain, how that never worked or any of the eastern bloc...

Supposed to be, but that's one part of the bill they have very little say over. Hence the large increases in it every year.
Supposed to cover yer free meter, and the wiring to yer property. But many are billing companies only, and not covered by the legislation.
Even chips, bought from a real chippy, aren't cheap these days. Cost of electric no doubt...
Guy Fawkes, the last man to enter the houses of parliament with honest intentions!
All that methane and hot air being produced and they can do nothing with either.
There's as many reds leaving for the greys, now they're expected to deliver on promises made.

It's not a case of running the programme in the background. Or was getting a second a cheaper and better option than upgrading one tower?

The hammer to knock them out, the sickle to operate on them...

Chippy chips?
4d or 6d (twice the 4d portion) when I was a lad, more than a few weeks ago
They 'buy' the power/gas and flog it on..
One of those 'we're going to open the supply up' and it'll be cheaper to you with a selection of companies to choose from, what else was promised the same? every bloody thing and yes, all turned out not to be a bargain. Sold off the country family jewels to their friends.... no wonder 3 million Scots offered to dig the road to hell ..
Less of politics....

I'd a wee look earlier, I'm too busy doing other things like I took a notion to wash off the bird poo, dead insects etc off her wee car (50% mine) tonight, jeez, it took ages but now sparkle city out there, sadly clean to take me to another wallet extraction in the morning.
An advert came on for a dog tracker which also monitors heart rate, some wag downstairs says I could get one for you..

I think I'd better watch, I did see some almonds in a plastic bag, never seen them in the house before.
Nights fair drawing in, another few weeks and it'll be bat time again........

An early night as a busy morning ahead, and the two Toodles coming down, two weeks until full-time baba sitting starts...

Well it were supposed to be as cheap as them.
Twice as much for less than twice the cost, now yer expecting miracles! Takes you back a bit then?
Some of them don't even do that much. Just billing companies as the work has been outsourced.

Can you fix it! It'll be a magnet for all airborne wildlife within a mile now you've cleaned it.
Could you not leave your cash at home, by accident...
I've seen a few dig tracker ads, but none that measure heart rate. Is that of the dog or the owner when the dog goes missing. You any say in which one you'll be getting.

Almonds, someone trying to tell you summat you think.
Might be because you'd a darker day, with some rain thrown in, after a week of sunshine, and clear night skies.
Bats are out most nights, you just need to be in the right area.

Sithi, hit the hay. You'll need to build up yer strength for what the morrow will bring. Two weeks, are neither old enough for school. Or, failing that sending to t'mill until old enough for school.
Remember, show them who's the boss!

Nah, a 6d portion was twice the chips..
I eventually became a chip shop connoisseur,
One or two have become casualties of the Bob Pound lately.
Both for using well past its fry-by date oil...
You can taste it..
I may be follically challenged, my eyesight is not as good, and my hearing is dulling slightly, but by jings, my senses of taste and smell are phenomenal.
Many moons ago, I ordered cod and chips in one of these motel-type places with an eatery attached; it was whiting, the manager got involved, I wasn't obstinate about it, I just mentioned at the bar, he came back with the invoice from the delivery folk...nope no cod just whiting..' How did you know?' I said creamy taste, plus the skin was still on part of the fish, my angling days helped..I do enjoy whiting too, Haddock is the king to me though. I got a couple of pints free of charge:cuppa:
Best chippy ever? a place in Belfast..
I asked for a couple of pickled onions and in a soft Norn Iron lilt I got this reply ' We don't sully our food with shi*e like that' so funny, it's been a Longs time since I have had one....
As noted above, wallet extraction complete...double charge in three months, one appointment after the other, I'd better go add to my calendar.
I might pick up a dedicated sound card for one tower, my son gave me a super duper gaming card for it, I might move that to the other one or just get a new chip/motherboard set, we'll see.

What smells of almonds?

Those were the days...
We'd three within 400 yards of each, now down to just the one.
Printing yer own money for the Bank of Bob. Or has yer money tree started growing.
There's a "chinese" that uses second hand oil. Recycling at it's lowest...
Not lost it all then. The manager make any offer of compensation, to put you to the test... Catching yer own would have given you an advantage, hope you kept that bit quiet. Kept yer palate sated for future use?
Fish is fish to most folk, small or large being the identifier for them.
Have you been back since, to that Belfast chippy, see if they'll give you a pickled onion on the second time of asking.

Anaesthetic from the wallet extraction wearing off....
Thought you'd have gone that way, sound card, already. Will yer tower be up to running the super duper card though!
Get a new tower, might be cheaper.

Cyanide!
And marzipan, which you like.

Three in this area, one I haven't tried yet..
Could do that tomorrow night?
I got a free meal plus two pints, that would do me, I drank the second and just headed back to Mrs M and the kids, wonder if I'd got a third, bloke did come over next morning and chatted away with us...

Money? I have apples
8 growing on my wee tree in the container, a cheapo one from the B and M, got home and saw it wasn't a self pollinator but something has:ohmy:

A basic sound card will do..
I could just run it on the other computer,
I'd not be using it constantly....

Had a phone call early afternoon from someone who took a wrong turn and ahem, realised they were not many miles from Gleneagles...
asked if we'd mind a visit as they were halfway there anyway, Mrs M and the girls had to head back here so a busy afternoon. They were 8 miles from Moville at one point, great to see them....

Still hurting from the extraction, compounded by the request to pay 50% upfront for the next appointment, I see the dentist for a check-up then straight into another wallet extraction. The problem is dentists here are like gold dust. Oh well. Where's my pliers, Mrs M wouldn't be pleased if I were gumsy. Oh well..

Latest kit in the from of the land across the sea, three wee handheld antennas, these ones fit the printed case I made, problem is the buttons are not fitted but most folk say they have to file them down, maybe get an out to try it out in the morning, I still would prefer to use the 40cm one instead of the 20cm ones I have, I'll see how these ones do...

Doing a crossword earlier today and it has a habit of having the odd clues about US TV and films stuff and dunno but I normally managed to find the answer most times, they use the same principle but getting used to the style is driving me nuts, if two words, we get say (5,2) but nope nothing over there...

They seem to be disappearing fairly fast, round these parts at least. One, that was a decent one, the owner decided on easier ways to make money. He was shut down not long after starting his new "enterprise".
Suppose what you get isn't up to expectations, what'll you do...
Free meal and drinks, did you think you'd be waking up soon, and the bill would be presented to you.

Can you use apples to pay for anything though.
Toodles not noticed the apples growing, or is she waiting on the right moment to pick one.

Cheaper, and quicker, than getting another tower. And I know you can't get cheaper than free...
Just when demands dictated.

We're the person who phoned, expected at your abode today. Or were it a wrong number you rescued with directions. They come bearing gifts, or just as yon weary travellers, who you made welcome.

Half of the next visit to be paid for before you even get close to the appointment. They think you'll nor turn up or something.
What's wrong with a cord and someone shutting a door fast? You'd have someone else helping you.

Did they come from the east or the west? No buttons fitted, but folk file them down if they are. Do they require the buttons in the first place.
You're gonna get damp in the morning, unless you're being chauffeured around.

They don't do very good crosswords across the pond. Their cryptic clues only seem to make sense if you've lived there.
You still stuck?

They weren't scheduled, they did bring gifts.
Surprise visits are sometime the best...
Just as well the Towers were in fine fettle...

Damp? perfect day (for me) for a wee jaunt..
We had a destination but carried on..
along Loch Earn (quite close to Moville) before heading back via Maccys along the rat race (M/way).

Apparently, I was 8 minutes slower than normal doing the Wednesday crossword...
my subscription runs out soon..
If they offer me another deal?

Not an ideal test route for Meshtastic....
but looking good in its new 'coat' and mini antenna

Still a light in the windows at night, to guide those lost?
I'll not disagree on surprise visitors. Especially those bearing gifts...

Yer gills get a well earned clean. Dry here, so far, but expecting a damp evening-night.
You're headed over Moville a fair bit o'late. You tried one of those McD's that are in the motorway services yet.

Stuck trying to get One across...
Do the Saturday crosswords only. A week before they give the answers. If they want yer patronage, it'll have to be with a discount, for yer loyalty.

Any acks on this "Meshtastic Route"
And you keeping a firm hold of it as you hold it out the window.
