The man might be confused, his toys less so...
The printer screen is displaying "Confused"! I'd be keeping an eye on it when I think it's turned off...
Yer been given orders not to continue listening to those that you cannot decipher the sender.
Could be why you woke up so early, a "message" from the sender...

Light sanding would also round the edges slightly. What paints is Mrs M using?
Blue day or not, I doubt Toodles will have seen them before though.

I got lots of acks (a few) going through Gleschu and other areas...
Nice lunch out before heading home..
Royal Mail are asking £2.50 for incorrect postage on an item...
Strange one as nothing due to arrive??

Acrylic paint, I have already given everything a light rubbing down.
I assume paint will get 'sooked' in....
We'll see how it looks after a few more days.
I'll hold back my attempt:cuppa:

Good afternoon.. :hello:

Been a wee trip west to an old haunt, Kilcreggan..
just down the road from where all the nuclear stuff is kept (took a run by)..
Smirry rain at times but an enjoyable day run out..
Enjoying the days before Tues and the girls being here...
Afternoon...

Who you been haunting?
You weren't looking for something to power yer latest project, were you...
Dry here, with a chance of it trying to rain. Chauffer driven ride around the area...
They not arrived yet. Make the most of yer time left before it's cut short again.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
Nah, visiting a place with good memories.
First holiday ever under canvas with me day...
Was tempted just to get the wee ferry back and forth from across the river..
Nice run....
Mrs M did say 'Glen of Coe?' but we were there recently..

Acks aplenty on what you said was a quiet frequency.
You went west to Glasgow!

Any skin left behind?
Very good memories by the sound of it. Yer first holiday under canvas.
Did you think of trying to relive the experience, for very long...
Still a £1 each crossing.
You went running on water!
Can't be many places left for you to visit now.

Tons of places....
Dunno if you get cheap tickets on yer travel card, islanders do...
Yon wee bathtub is out of service now that bridge i crossed the other day is open....

Think I'm getting interested in geocaching again, just thinking..

Oh, the Royal mail thing?
some cheapskate sent us a card using an old second-class stamp..
they'll be mortified when they find out,
The fun on this one is going to run and run..
I'll get some mileage outta this.

A nice and breezy 16.3c just now..

Camping? nah, love my soft bed too much, although I did gingerly ask Mrs M and got a resounding 'no''
Youngsters have no get-up-and-go nowadays, so I passed on all the camping gear except my stove and one sleeping bag..
Day at home, I think.

No cheap tickets, but I'm land locked down here. Might explain why though...
Take a tin bath the next time yer headed over there. You can paddle across for old times sake, maybe charge for carrying a passenger...
Crossing via bridge doesn't have the same expectation of "will I get to the other side".

Slow yer thinking down. How'll yer fit it into yer schedule.

The number of folk that don't realise you can't use old stamps still is unbelievable. Then again if it's what the shop sold them, it'd be fair to expect the shop to know.
Sounds as though you know the sender. Wind him up by returning it as "Not known at this address".

Just shy of 19°C here at present, but the threat of rain is in the air.

You can get self inflating airbeds these days. Almost as good as a mattress on any bed.
Take her to a camping show, all the mod cons available will blow her mind.
And having given/gifted it to someone else, you'll have a shock at the cost of replacing it all.
You remain young at heart then.
Day spent at home testing yer remaining stove and sleeping bag. "Do Not Disturb" sign nearby...

Owdo :hello:
Mondays were the start of yer working week, Saturdays were a "none day" unless on overtime rates... Which might explain why you don't like them.

I worked 99% of Saturdays for over 30 odd years..(OT), My choice, of course.
It could be subliminally that

In the 70s, we used a double airbed.....
We've even camped in London...(1983) down for the American Bowl..

Two nights (or was it '84)

Glencoe was our place, in the official campsite, not peat bog and trowel. country.
The midges were phenomenal as it had conifer trees all around it...but it had clean loos...
I almost learned how to fire up the old brass Primus stove,
we'd a few dodgy moments, gas canister ones were welcomed in quickly.
Love my JetBoil....or kipper fryer.
I still have my 'dixies' bought mid 70s, 75p the pair.

Memory..
Headed to a local supermarket for food for the weekend (under canvas),
remember a certain s/market brought out a budget product line in white and blue?
I bought a can of chopped pork..
Sat teatime, boiled the spuds, cooked the beans, plated up, had already cut the meat and placed the slices on the spuds, and the meat turn into liquid. Straight to the pub for a bar meal. Last time we bought cheapo tinned meat...
Think I posted a photo of the tent at some point in the past..

We ponied up for the card.

Get you. Airbeds in the 70's! Is it any wonder you don't like camping now.
You wake up in time to catch the game?

If you don't know it's no good asking me...
Streets paved with gold took your mind elsewhere...

What's wrong with peat bog and trowel country. Aside from there being no showers in the mornings. Unless nature obliges.
You weren't shy, were you?
Airbeds, clean loos, under cover...
You lived the high life back then.
Seen a tent ruined by spilt fuel that wasn't cleaned before packing away. And he said nowt either when handing it back.
Still got my then top of the range Trangia, bought in the mid 80's. The price nowadays...
Could you manage without yer kipper fryer now?

Always tried to get any meat from a butchers. Never in tins if cooking, Spam aside for sarnies.
I think I saw that happen once, and it couldn't have happened to a nicer person. The look on his face when he lifted the frying pan lid...

What card?

Oh, there's a supermarket selling off gutter hooks at 50p a box. Think yer "national" drink or recent tourist to arrival.

I printed gutter hooks last Xmas...

Airbeds are cool for camping....
better than a bumpy, rocky of grassy damp patch.
The onsite loos were when the future Mrs M was with me..
the rest of the time was wild camping until we got access to a most revered bothy

A shower? with a burn next to where we camped ?
Not many butchers in the camping area, tinned was just handier, it normally was a can of corned dog....
I have a wee gas tove and my other one..
Handy in case any problems with our house supply.....
Chopped pork from Morrisons is the bees knees, a wee dash of broon sauce sets it off.

I've a wheely interesting start to the morning..
Toodlepip !

I know, saw the price today and wondered how you managed to print and not waste more than they were worth.

They can be bugger to blow up at night though, when they're needed.
You just check for, and remove, any rocks that are where you want to pitch yer tent. Before pitching...
True test would have been to see if she didn't mind the "peat bog and trowel" sites. I'm split on bothy's. Bad weather possibly, especially if it's windy as well.

Doesn't sound as though it were something you encountered too often.
Bought before setting off, or on the way if I knew the butchers.
Oh I appreciate cans were/are handier, but you only need the one incident of yer meat disappearing to make you rethink.
If there's a chance of an interruption to the supply, I make certain I've my camping stoves handy.
Have they improved their chopped meat. Always too much fat on it at one stage.

"A wheely exciting start" to tomorrow, yer going to be trying yer unicycle out!
