We have 5c and slowly falling,
I'd go with the aliens(area) over Bigfoot. No recent sightings of Bigfoot either.

sunny, blue skies and everywhere was white with JFrost early AM...
It fell to minus 2.9c during the night between mid of night and the AM of 2...

Had to throw on a shirt of Tee to head out and see Nursey....while Mrs M picked up the Toodles Gang.
I had left a print going when I was out, I had used the newish plate bed and everything really stuck to it, I meant stuck, could be the rapid cooling today of the PLA..
Anyhow, back on with the worn plant bed and no problem this time.
Four pins to do yet...

Overcast and it dropped a fair bit more during the night, skies cleared apparently letting it drop. We'd the wind of snow, but no snow, early on. No snow since either, and they promised us as well.

Hope you'd more than the shirt of Tee on when you presented yerself for inspection.

Maybe they're keeping an eye on you as you keep an eye on them...
Now I know this may sound daft, but I thought those plate beds were non-stick by design. Lucky you kept the old one to hand.
That's easy do, walk round in yer bare feet. You'll have them found in next to no time. And you have the advantage of one dodgy foot already.

A card full from Jan....and a hossie one.

This I have never seen anything so well stuck.
I need an enclosure for the winter....
Everything I was doing is now done..
I'll do a self-levelling later and do some examples tomorrow.
It's the inconsistency of the difference of the 'slicing (creation of the G Code file which the printer needs) file between upgrades but it's free.
4.5c, oh boy, it's dropping..
I have a plate bed which is, Texture PIA..
Must look into it....

I'm I'm giving myself the rest of the year off, I deserve it.

I'm resisting the so far..
A coffee for the afternoon then kapow !!!!

I've been trying a setting and it showed one only blemish on the first layer, on the model I'm doing the bottom (first) layer will have a non slip material put on..so if a bit wonky it will still do..
One more print to try with a different shade of PLA to see if the brand I'm using is the problem,
I do have to adjust wall thickness (.2x2 = .4) but it does lay down pretty well but the funny thing it works okay on the other programs I can use, down to one setting, the samples were to be picked up yesterday but this and that as usual....

Feet up and see if anything on....

Forgot to add,
I do an Extrusion first before I print, either as I chage the colour or just to make sure no blockages etc and principally to ensure its constant.
The waste which lands on the plate is a lot quicker cooling if it's cold. Normally I have to wait a wee bit to throw the 'snot' (tech term) to cool and now? seconds it takes...

Could just be a bad batch, if they're all from the same manufacturer. If it is what yer using at fault.
Samples, hope yer declaring income from yer increasing business. Who'd expect to pick up on New Years Eve!

Samples? not selling, doing a favour for something, also giving me a way of using settings I never use.
I'm happy with this one....black bit is more just to hide the name of it...latest version of Mk3 printing and should be finished between 1 and 2 am..been going since around 4pm
One below was done in just 210 mins approx so much better than 10 hours 27 mins the prog reckons...

My brain is frazzled for the year...Z Hops and filament temps, and lifted travel..
and an alarm set for 2 am..

I still prefer the grey one, seems a better finish...
I'll be busy today again..
No wicked for the rest.

The Creality one obviously is a print speed difference but I had to double the wall thickness which slows it down a bit (on the finer items), the key base is okay...but I'll just set it to print at 4 instead of 2, makes life easier in the long run...Weird, once you install an update, its suppose to be better? not the last one..

Better go get the kettle ready, the apple and banana......
