I could murder the ****wit who invented homework.
I usually have
at least two hours a night (if not then revision etc)....more often three hours a night. This means from the moment I wake up at 6.30am until around 7.30/8 pm I am thinking/doing/living college. From GCSEs onwards, education just becomes a complete waste of time (ok ok it does have its advantages), being taught to pass exams, which most of the time cannot be applied to real life skills. I am very lucky in that my college has a high quality of teaching and a lode of extra curricular activities, but it is still a shoot lifestyle, effectively working over a 12 hour day.
So teachers...instead of complaining about the amount of marking you need to do, set less homework! (one thing that really gets me is the whole "So I spend all saturday planning lessons for you and marking your class' work and you don't even bother to hand in your work?!".....)
Yes I have 6 essays to do for tuesday and yes I am annoyed
