I've just done a second Mountain moose ride. Thought I'd start with the "easiest" ones first! Could be a big mistake 'cos I don't know how I can face the rest now. Thought that was never going to end. I don't know how you lot can do the mountain goats, it would definitely kill me!:notworthy:
To be honest I think they are quite a lot harder than the first league.

Off topic here, is Bsim working on Windows 10? Reason is, daughter is into rowing and she is getting a decent indoor rower for her birthday and I have found some software like bkool(for rowers) so I am going to use a large TV and build a nano pc with bsim and this rowing software. I don't fancy her borrowing my laptop when I am not looking
I've used this software for 15 years before I got the bkool. Only on the bike. The bike is supposed to be ant+ but I've never got it to work with Bkool.

They have free trial for the bike and I imaging they offer it for the rowing as well.

Actually my last nights ride was Alpe d' Huez which I did in 1 hour 10 mins (my slowest yet) and at a steady 200watts ish. It was a really easy ride and boredom was the biggest problem. My point being, that on bkool, steep mountains are easy if you ride well within your limits.
Will be looking out for your goats group joining request .
No chance!!! I still feel sick from this morning's effort, can't be bothered doing anything todayxx(

They are. I found Sand Flats and Parleys much harder than expected -- more because of the length than the slope I suspect. I knew the others would be painful from regular real world experience with them.

I can say all are less painful if you treat them as just an aerobic workout rather than a race :-) I did the former when testing the rides in bkool earlier this year and the latter chasing Soarerv8 & Insomnia ghosts on Parley's last week.

Don't worry Boxers it is hidden climbing like the hidden veg Jamie Oliver sneaks into kids lunches. You know it is there and you know it is good for you but you can't precisely identify where it is coming from (this is my hope)
I'm hoping to be close enough to some to make use of my in built momentum generation

How the chuff has that got 800ft of climb?

Its a great looking course and one for the consistent power houses perhaps. There are going to be some very tired legs and lungs at the 15k point. Whoever is at the front at 21k must fancy their chances:hyper:and if anyone can get under 35m then:notworthy:
I wish i was joining you!

So Lars gets Google pop ups for man sized nappies and dating sites for men looking for older women. I get pop ups for carbon bottle cages and wheelsets...

Where did it all go wrong...
Well, you could try what I did. I used to just search for "Bkool Chat".
Since I added the site to my Favorites, it has all been downhill. The last interesting ad I got was from a hair-growth company, again bad timing since I had just been at the hairdresser and had my mane removed with an electric sheep shears.

Having just woken up after a day in my sick bed, I am feeling completely lethargic, just about to get my boy on zwift for an hour, not sure if I'll make it or not, not eaten much at all today (beetroot juice and cup a soup) and have little energy.

You have just described me at my best (apart from the not eating much bit). I think what you should do is come on and tow me to the downhill part and then retire gracefully

I have just scoffed a pizza to add ballast for the downhill bit. Might be a bit too close to pedal time and that means there is a danger of me not still having it in my tummy when I get there.
