I too am questionable for this evening (and to be fair at most other times) Mrs Soarerv8 blathered something about getting her nails done or some such nonsense this evening potentially leaving me notionaly in charge of the hooligans. I did point out that Thursday was MY evening, little did I know that she kept records and bought Tues, Sun, Sat, Fri and last Thurs out as evidence. Adam when you have set fire to your parents house could you pop round and do the same to wherever on earth it is you go to get whatever on earth it is done to nails? Thanks

Surely the answer is to offer to Mrs Soarerv8's nails for her, say after the ride? Nothing wrong with adding to your already impressive skill set:okay:

True this is possible but arson just sounds a bit easier to be honest.

Off topic here, is Bsim working on Windows 10? Reason is, daughter is into rowing and she is getting a decent indoor rower for her birthday and I have found some software like bkool(for rowers) so I am going to use a large TV and build a nano pc with bsim and this rowing software. I don't fancy her borrowing my laptop when I am not looking

Not got a lot on today... Bit of paper work his morning that I've been avoiding for too long. Pick the nipper up from nursery then maybe London zoo this afternoon depending on the weather. If I don't make the ride tonight assume I've been mauled by a tiger!

@Andy - can't help with the rowing machine I'm afraid. I own one myself but I've moved houses more times than I've used it in the time that I've owned it... Best intentions and all that... Hope you can make the ride tonight though. I need you to drag me around!

Seems to work as well in win10 as it did 8.1. Read into that what you want!

I have a waterrower and, in a not dissimilar way to how much I love bkool I also love my rower. I have damaged the water tank though while moving it. So a reseal or replacement at 120£ to £250. Ouch. I used it in and off 2-3 a week for last 8y and physio traced one of issues with my knee to not using it the last 8 months or so. Apparently it's great for preventing IT band issues and strengthening the buttock muscles etc. that counteract or balance out overstrong quads. So you may want to give it a go yourself. However hard or painful it is believe me when I say it's less so than taking a foam roller to a tense IT band:ohmy::stop:

All New Chaingang - tonight 7pm

Course: http://www.bkool.com/classification/showIndividualStageClassification/5508
Pico Peñas de Dios (La Yesa - Villar del Arzobispo)

Usual 7pm start for the warm up and race starts at 7:10pm. You will find it under the Live session tab - do not select it from the League tab! If you cant see it use the filter and search for Rick.

Should be pretty fast and furious to the finish. :hyper:

i know how you feel - i too am a victim to Geoff the axeman ! . millimeters ahead last time and 103% effort , just to have 4 mins piled in my rucksack , wouldn't be surprised if he nips round and lets me tyre down as well :cry:i knew a kid like him at school - pushed me out the conker tree !!

Remember when I said this @Add ?

Well the jokes on me now I've seen the new handicaps - the 30 second head-start I had on you last time which you overcame has turned into......a 25 second head-start now! :headshake:

That's because Adam has registered two results but you have only done one, so he gets a slight uplift on his handicap (just a few seconds).

The handicaps are never 100% of the difference between recorded results, as it is designed to close people up just before the finish, rather than at the finish.

He was 35 seconds faster than you last time, so if you both repeat the performance he will win by 10 seconds!

Think how exciting those last 10 seconds will be...

Don't forget that lots of the other people you are riding with will also have had their handicaps reduced, and that it is all relative.

The guys you just pipped last time have all been been given a later start time, so you all fall back into the pack of guys you beat by miles last time.

You finished 3 whole minutes ahead of Adam last time out, but the guys you just beat, Kapelmuur and Insomnia have all been given later Start Times, so you should be just a close to them again. So has Adam! ;)

There is method in my madness, as well as a sprinkle of sadism!

Ohh....newly done nails. Nice red nail varnish. Embrace the welcomed maintenance your wife is undergoing. Red nailed fingers have other mutual uses...
