Welcome:hello:

You are in the right place if you want to earn the right to eat pancakes. Or jammie Dodgers ^_^

You are right about zwift. It's nice to go on zwift though and not worry about your level being downgraded by bkool. I think it would also be a lot of fun to get a group of us together, especially the real mountain goats here and go on Zwift and attack the new mountain route en masse:bicycle:

I was happily warming up when my laptop suddenly went black - turned out I hadn't plugged it in properly and the battery died. Cue frantic plugging in and turning back on - only for it to decide to do some updates which took ages (well it felt like ages!). So I missed the start - not sure exactly by how much but I think 40 seconds or so. I clicked "NO" when asked if I wanted to start behind the last rider just like you do on a handicap race, so I assume it will record my actual moving time for the leagues despite me missing the start???

That really is a pity because you might have been able to join the drafting at the front if you got a good start. AAAC is really quite accommodating and allows us slower guys to sit on his tail. He's a little less understanding when it comes to the hill at the end though.

I think it used to downgrade a bit more often, now it seems that a fitness rating is valid for 3 months or so. If you haven't improved it in those 3 months and it expires then your next ride sets a new rating. However as most of the rides I do are league rides there is no easing off. I've done a few easy rides on Bkool of late as I broke my collarbone nearly four weeks back and I haven't been down graded.

Anyway with a 4.5 w/kg ride, I don't think you have much to worry about!

I was waiting to see who would blink first and fastest! great to watch.

@CXRAndy well done... you kept me going right until the end, I would of bailed tonight around 10 miles into the course as my legs were hurting, I've done one too many bkool sessions this week.

Will rest up and save my legs for Saturday's re-run.

The Pc didn't crash but bkool was ever so slow at logging in. As I joined the session I saw 6 riders waiting, but once it logged in fully, I was all on my own until the last minute where Lars and AAAC appeared. I didn't the see you at all Monte and thought I did the whole session on my own. Bkool again! Good ride, I beat a previous attempt by nearly a minute
