Had to take my bike to the menders today because the cotter pin was coming loose and I didn't have a hammer! View attachment 126050 View attachment 126051
No wonder you're so quick, a cadence of 80 on that.......

Well my bkooling toady was probably just as much a failure if not more. I took 72 hours rest, sure that this would help me blitz my time on Berge von Kölle 6x so set off after AAAC's ghost about 5:30 today. Almost immediately AAAC got an obscene lead on me, well over a minute on the first ascent and I was digging in a best as I could. I had started off hoping I could win but this quickly turned into hoping that I could beat my own time.
Anyway, much suffering and overheating later I crossed the line a minute down on my previous time.
And for my previous time I had too much tyre pressure and had to stop to let air out, and I had only had 24 hours rest beforehand. It doesn't make any sense![]()

Mine too Bill. I was riding Stage 2 with Bobinski and others and I set off a bit lack lustre and then had to work hard to catch up whilst watching the TV with one eye.
I was again getting dropped on the descents again and eventually was not catching up on the climbs so every one was quickly getting away from me.
I then decided to treat it as a training ride and back off a bit when everything froze and I had to turn off the PC so everything was lost.
I suppose every cloud has a silver lining because now no one gets to see me getting a good pasting by Bobinski

You flash b*****d! Would that Jag tow my caravan?@bobinski Remember when you insisted that I buy a Sea Sucker roof mount for the bikes? I crumbled easily to your peer pressure and here it is. Takes 3 bikes held on by suckers, an incredibly scary prospect I have moddled it with my cyclocross bike as I felt it was most likely to accept being bounced down the road when the suckers unsucked.
Not a lot of metal on the roof so have suckered it to the rear sunroof so should at least get a good view of it flying off the lid.
It would be honoured to however it is apparently impossible to attach a tow bar so we would need to hold it on with bungie straps and duck tape. You flash b*****d! Would that Jag tow my caravan?

So I took a crack at the TTT course (Tin Can Ten Time Trial) with the appropriate set of ghosts.Official results

does it have reversing sensors or do i just keep going backwards till i feel a bump like i do in the van ?That would be great!
Don't team sky drive jags? I'm sure even the guys without driving licenses would happily take a turn driving it for the sake of the group.
Top Gear have nothing on us!I think we should give that a try on the next cyclechat Bkool real world cycling trip![]()
The chapwho usually walks in front with a red flag clearing peasants out of the way goes to the rear to check when reversing, it would be totally ridiculous to have two people!does it have reversing sensors or do i just keep going backwards till i feel a bump like i do in the van ?
Somewhere warm, rolling hills in the early part of the year . It would be quite a gathering of Cyclechat.net bkool members
Who is good at holiday logistics?
