That was frustrating. Connecting issues but did the ride start early? One second it was 2min plus then bang, everyone was off. Stuck my foot in the wheel to stop it and then be allowed to start and tried to catch up. 14secs behind TT and Adds and then no connection. Ride on my own .Just off my best time too. With some competition and chasing to do and possibly some drafting I might have got under50m:angry: oh well:rolleyes:^_^
Frigging hell Bridgy

I'm very pleased you buggered off up the road Adam. I had nothing to offer bud. The only good things to happen in the last hour was seeing the finish line and hearing a new tune from the stone roses.

Thanks for the encouragement at the end AAAC.

@Goldwolfie sorry beyond my control .

Grrrrrrrrrr pc crash and then got back on and tried to do a 30 minute tt for an ftp rating and crapped out after 20 :boxing::B). Still I did my best average power @230 watts over 20 minutes or so not all wasted . Still shattered after the quicket pot molle warm up session and then a highest power over 20 minutes .

Now time for :mrpig:.

Well done Paul. I couldn't give you guys a race at the end as my tyre just slipped as it didn't like the 150psi I had in it. Got cramp half way up as well which didn't help. And then AAAC dropped in to tell me there should be no funny stuff with blue numbers and the like as he was watching me. :stop:

Thanks Bill - hard luck with the tyre slip & cramp. I've never had the nerve to go above 120psi myself, particularly after a tyre blowout in my early Bkool days!

AAAC just told me to stop!! (no uphill blues at all today - not steep enough for them to just appear under normal pedaling like they sometimes did on that really steep one I think)

Great drafting on the flat by the way @BILL S and @AAAC 76C - ironically much more effective and organised than any of the team TT's we've done! I hope I pulled my weight enough - I tried to contribute at the front as much as I could but I was at my limit for much of that!

That was a pity as we were working well together - I waited to see if you reappeared but alas not, so I then pushed on to catch up with Rob and we got another team White train going to the bottom of the big climb

Thanks to AAAC and yourself for your words of encouragement towards the end. At least it proved that I am over my recent sickness

So how about we try an individual weight Handicap next Tuesday?

Just sign up here, be allocated a weight, set that weight before the ride and see how you get on.

You can ride it at any time during the week, but those who's motivation is improved by the sight of others just in front (Adam and Bill, you know who you are) should enjoy the added bonus of a suddenly emaciated @theboxers flying up the hill in front...

I suggest I setup a league stage with 3 laps of the Merry Harriers as a trial run, so we keep target times below 30 minutes.

Here are my initial calculations on target weights (taken from this months Bonus sprint 2)...

user Handicap Kg
AAAC 76C 97.7
Bridgy 96.3
Bill S 87.7
Adski 87.4
John18 82.5
TurboTommy 79.9
CXRAndy 78.7
Bobinski 75.1
Soarerv8 71
bazzer99 68.2
RamirezAGC 66.6
berty bassett 64
Rob 60.9
Goldwolfie 60.6
TheBoxers 47

Count me in as well - thanks Geoff.

Well team green I have done the TTT afraid I just couldn't stay with you. Bkool was doing some funny stuff big lag on gradient change. Would have been welcome on an uphill course big nuisance downhill. Could you do the necessary Geoff to see if I have shamed the team.

I found that really tough. I latched onto some Airam fellow for about 2/3 of it, until he cooked me. I tried to dig deep in response to your words of encouragement AAAC, but I was at deaths door, my HR said it all really.
Bridgy, Bill and AAAC......pfffft!
Tommy, I was going to team up with you, and would have if I hadn't caught that Airam's draft. You held in there though, stayed within a couple of minutes, and I was mainly in the draft, so good skills.

What happened to you @AAAC 76C ?

A little annoyed as we were having a good tussle tonight. I was not at my best and I was wondering if Bill and I were letting you sit on too much.
I had to put the pressure on on that little climb at about 3/4 as I new there were a few little descents and I didn't have the enthusiasm to chase after you both going downhill and it worked just about right as we all went into the climb sort of together. Knowing that I had 4 minutes on Bill and 10 on yourself (in the GC) I knew I didn't need to smash up the hill which is just as well as I was pretty spent well before we started climbing.
Our little battle was keeping me going as my just forward of butt area was giving me jip and I was blowing hard as well.
All that and the thought that I didn't want to do this again under duress meant Iwas not going to give in and then........BSim crashed! feck, feck blimming feck

Despite how hard that was I like this stage. Some real group drafting miles with a couple of minor challenges on short climbs and then the big challenge at the end.
When you finally cross the line (unlike me) you know you've done a ride!
I agree - and that hill at the end is just long enough to be a nasty challenge but without going on for ever.
