Thanks Lars. Not sure if anyone is going to do the Chaingang ride today though so might not be anyone else there. How about we just say that anyone who wants to do the session can start it, hopefully posting here first, so anyone else can join their session.
That's ok. I'll just start it and bail after the warm up.

Chain gang ( August September Chaingang) rerun stage 1 (Dénia / Alicante / Comunidad Valenciana / España) at 4 pm UK time.

I wonder if doing an FTP session would put me to where I should be? I might try that.
Yup! Now Amateur10  Which is all I'm good for today with the heat in my loft.

Sorry AAAC. I couldn't keep going. I'm amazed at the speed you were going up that hill. Only the bots could do anything about you.
I'll just have to try again next week when it cools down.

I thought you were going to switch to a KICKR? For Zwift that might be a good choice, but the problem with accurate power readings is that they can put you at a disadvantage to someone with inaccurate readings that report higher power levels!

Geoff

still can't bring myself to invest in one, it's been a very expensive year for me with house alterations etc... In preparation of my lads playing football and me being the full time taxi, I'm predicting a lot more time training indoors to fit in my training.

I understand new wahoo kickr due next month ?

Are you riding a tour on your new steel bike this year?

Randy, don't think I will have the time this year - however I'm very pleased with the Genesis, took me a while to get used to it and had a few issues with the bike at the beginning but now I love it.

Wasted attempt this evening. Thanks @LBHIFI for starting event. Just didn't have enthusiasm. Proper weight and weak will:sad:

New tacx for Bob. Enjoy. I hope it's more compatible with Bkool :okay:

Great finish to road race

Hi all ..... I'm finally back after 4 weeks absence! Had a relaxing 90 minutes ride today to get myself back into the saddle. Not too shabby considering

For those who are interested, I created the Double Devil route using the info on their website. Unfortunately it is the full 82 miles / 133 KM, but could prove an interesting training ride for those doing the ride next year. Anyone know how to break this down into 4 or five 'stages'?

Got some catching up to do as I'm sure Rob, GW. TB et al have gained loads of fitness in the last 4 weeks and I'll be even further back now
