Sorry I missed earlier - work commitments unfortunately. Had a bash at this when I got back and was quite lonely
Hope to give it another go on Saturday unless my new car is ready to collect.

@LBHIFI have you noticed what your username has come up as in the league? Don't know if relevant?

Yes, I did notice. I changed my profile long before (think it was a day before), so don't know why that is. I rode with the correct name in bsim.

I did a ftp to make me amateur before login out and rejoining bsim, but I was still elite in bsim.

You may have started late but you soon caught me up and left me in your wake. I tried to draft with you for a bit to give you a rest after chasing me down, but to be honest I don't think I was that much help to you

Oh my little legs were wobbling with three to go... Jamie breathing down my neck.. I tried to pace myself up to you so I had enough to finish, but it was close.. day off the bike today... try that Chapel Fell wall thing again this weekend.

Getting fitter
Getting better

I never thought cycling in Western Scotland could be so much fun.. :rain:

@LBHIFI LB, if you rode that with the wrong weight, there is perhaps one thing we could do about it.
I think that if we removed you from the group your result would also be removed. You could then re join and if you do a quick col de la mad we can reinstate your velodrome session, then tomorrow or another time you can re do last nights ride. Your choice Lars. Let me know if you want to do that.

I don't think it will be the wrong weight - my name is showing as "Bridgy 80kg" which is wrong, but I have clicked on the ride details and it does show me as the correct weight (78kg). So another odd glitch with the names I think but not the weights

I don't think I rode with the wrong weight, I think it's just how, what and when information is passed between the different Bkool systems.

I really don't know what to do about the Chaingang league. I have had excessive watts in both of them, but this Tuesday in the handicap league, I'm sure my power meter would have given me a similar result.

How bout this:
It is pretty obvious when things are wrong, so in the Chaingang stages to come, I will se how things progresses while riding the stages, and if I feel like it's not right, then I will hold back and finish not 1st. The first time I get this feeling, I will try to finish far enough behind to equal the general classification.

Hopefully there will be one of the chaingang stages where things will be allright, I really like these long flatish/draftish stages.

@LBHIFI Have you tried another pc to connect the trainer to, in case there is a bug on bsim with your pc? I dont know if an un-install removes all files from the pc

Looking at the rides yesterday, its apparent those who are the fittest, despite developing huge amounts of power to lead the group, their heart rate fluctuates with less demanding sections of effort. I am for example, bouncing off the rev limiter all the way along last nights punishing leg:ohmy:

Did a velodrome ride tonight as a warm up and had fun with The Boxers along the way. Just before I quit to go to the live session we had a bit of a sprint and unknown to me at the time at this very moment my power cable fell out as I hit 630 watts and low and behold I carried on shooting around the velodrome at almost 74 kph (45 mph) without pedalling.
I think this is what I saw in Pep Tatches Summer Cup rides i.e. he is getting and intermittent power failure and not realising it (then).

I thought I was doing well, for me, @500+ watts (800+ on the vectors :smile:). The little sprints for 2 or 3 laps hurt :B). But watching you go round and round and round like I was standing still :notworthy:, power failure :stop:  :surrender:.
