A quick reminder to anyone doing cyclechat leagues

It really is worth reading this forum occasionally.

Because......

At the moment we have Runar (one of our quickest riders) in last place for chaingang stage 1 : @ 1 hour 36 mins

Guess how?

Clue: Col de la Madeleine is a very long hard ride.

Oh no!! I hope he doesn't throw his Bkool trainer out in disgust when he sees he's nearly an hour behind the next rider!

New Pro up and running, with any luck I can get back for 5 tomorrow but I doubt it.
I did a couple of practice runs (in jeans and trainers) and I have a feeling I am going to come down a peg or two and will be chasing instead of leading.
But who knows the correct OMIL gear might give me a few more wots (Wot the heck are you wearing says HID).

Edit. I enabled ANT+ FEC in the manual pairing but there doesn't appear to be an option to disable it, am I being stewpid?

Good to have you back @kipster, and there was no way I could have hauled you in last night, as I was flat out at my max bpm once I split from Rob - it might have been a better idea to stick together:huh:.

I put everything into it as I won't be around for the rerun, as I'm cycling down to Wolverhampton for the match tomorrow evening, staying over and then cycling back on Sunday - 140 mile round trip and the weather doesn't look great. At least I'll get a decent curry and a few pints of Bank's Bitter.
Say 'Hi' to the Black Country for me :okay: Hope you have a bostin time

AFAIK if you go back to Auto pairing it resets the manual pairing mode.

so is it best to be auto paired or manual ?
As far as I can tell (AFAICT) it doesn't make any difference. I did a couple of experimental runs on the flat when Andy was comparing speed /watts with hi kickr and results were pretty much the same. I've used both manual and auto pairing regularly (usually just leave in auto but sometimes it doesn't pair so have to do it manually) and I've never noticed a difference.
