I'm just writing an email to Bkool to point out some ongoing problems with the website since the "update" and ask if they're aware and resolving them. So far I have:

- Leagues only showing current active stages so you can't see upcoming stages in active leagues or any individual stages in past leagues.
- Within a league stage results, clicking on the number of attempts for any rider, used to bring up more details about the ride - this now gets an error page.
- Unable to add additional ghosts when you challenge someone's ride (just the challenged rider)

Any other problems I've missed and should add to my email?

Would be nice if we could filter the live rides to only show those Un warm up. Sometimes I want to join a general ride but the live tab is frustrating as often only shows rides that have already begun.

Cheers

And lets not forget about the "Dead Stops". We still suffer from these, even if we have learned to reduce them by freewheeling into the steep gradient changes. Bkool did say they were working on it but the problem still exists.

Evening all,
I'm going to do the chaingang first session tomorrow, following the excellent explanation earlier:okay:

Is there a reason why the Sep handicap league wasn't updated, it still only has three sessions by myself

Which sessions have you done Martyn?

Edit: Unfortunately, according to the results, you have not done any of the rides. You are definitely in the group so I can only suggest that you have not ridden your rides from the league tab or ridden with us on our group rides on Thursdays or Saturdays (I don't remember seeing you). The other way is by challenging someone's ride from the league results page, but you would still look for that ride in the Leagues tab.
How have you been setting up your rides?

Yeah, still a problem - had a couple on the "Training Loop" stage which I don't remember from doing that course before. I think there's a bit of a random element to them too!

I was more thinking about things on the website itself that they've broken since their recent "update" for this particular complaint though! They've fixed some of the initial problems like Strava syncing, creating new scheduled rides etc, but there's still persisting problems I wanted to tell them about and encourage them to fix!

Unrelated, but i did email bkool to ask if they could look at my training loop rides and extrapolate figures for a 75 kilo rider but no can do apparently.

Bridgy I don't know if fitness level is broken. I have done 2 rides with much better powe levels but Bkool has ignored the result for improvement. I reckon is should active 3

Not sure Andy - what fitness level are you currently? How do you find the fitness level of another person on the Bkool website by the way? Never known if there's a way to do this?

My current fitness level was set by a rather dodgily fast ride I did on the 4th August, so as I think the fitness levels are re-calculated after 2 months if you haven't done an FTP test, I'm due for a rather big demotion on fitness level after tomorrow!

Looking at my home page it does look like fitness levels have been adjusted up and down in recent days for other riders....

Actually, seeing someon's fitness level is really easy - just click on their name and it's under their photo on the right of their profile page - can't believe I missed this before!

I am in active 1. With a w/kg 3.1. But I have done a couple of rides which were 3.6 I think. It's not that important, only a self esteem kind of thing.

I am the best, I am the best. There is no place like home, clicking heels

Berty, the ride where you got Elite 3, but were riding under-weight isn't really Bkool's fault to be fair, as it would just be applying a watt/kg figure which would obviously be skewed by the low weight.

I've just looked at your Bkool profile and it looks like Bkool re-calculated your fitness level on 1st Oct as you haven't done an FTP test since you did the ride where you went to Elite 3, and 2 months have elapsed. What it seems to have done though is taken the average watts from the TWO rides you did on 1st Oct - one was the 122% effort you mentioned but the other was only 78% - maybe your warm down ride? I must admit I never knew it used average watts for more than one ride done on the same day to calculate fitness levels!
