Didn't see this till now! But yes TT, I would have done it with you. It was awfully lonely starting 30 minutes after everyone else, with nothing but AAAC's graffiti to keep me company.

I got a bit distracted by a bottle of plonk in the end mate...

Its really good to see you back though. As bridgy said you'll soon start finding your form again. And until then the rest of us can enjoy a bit of payback!

Berty I was actually wondering at what point you were going to come past me on the way up the hill tonight. Some of your recent big climbs have been way faster than what I can muster at the moment so I was doing a bit of a mental calculation at what point you could come past me, and me still be able to get you back on the downhill before the end. When Bridgy came past he distracted me from this thought which was probably a good thing because trying in vain to stay with him seemed to pull me away from the danger behind.
i think this new version has made steeper hills easier for me when its over 7% but unfortunately it didn't last long enough to make any impact on you and i could see you soaring away AGAIN - trouble was i was fine while shuffle played ted nugent but it threw a simon and garfunkel at me when i needed a walter trout !

Berty Basset! You have come on leaps and bounds in my abscence. You're on fire mate. As for you Bridgy, 'flippin' eck'! I've got a literal and virtual mountain to climb to catch up with the back of the pack, never mind you green and blue hatted folk.
I think a lot of my problem this evening was I had to wear a very old kit, which was heavily soiled, inside and out....and I think that really slowed me down. :reading:

dont you try buttering me up sunshine ! i know your game . if i blink you are going to be back to full speed and another back wheel i see pull away
welcome back :okay:

Still can't access the sim so can't take part

Removed all my passwords in settings as advised , deleted the app & re installed , re registered as a new user & still when I launch the sim it still shows my Tiny01 page & no password will work whatsoever / new user won't work either , tried everything no idea what to do now
Just to rule out the possibility of your firewall is blocking something, try to disable it temporarily.

Edit: Sorry, just saw that CRXAndy already suggested that.

How bloody frustrating LB abut don't leave us!
I really enjoy our races, so I'll try another PC.

However, I really need some consistent feedback and I'm just not getting that from BKool. Before the update I could have achieved that by using my BePro's as power meter, but that is not possible anymore.

So I think I'll by doing the hard work in Zwift and then try to join the Tuesday and Thursday races in BKool - if a can get the damn thing to work.

Thanks both you and CRXAndy I'll try that , well my daughter will ! Failing that I've a PC man from the village booked to come round on Tuesday to have a look for me if I can't resolve it myself before then .

Is it easy to check my firewall or to disable it then , as you can probably tell I'm useless with computers but willing to learn !!

I checked!

The first chaingang league I properly joined in was December 2015. The first stage of that was similar length to today's and I managed 281 watts (351 today) and came 10th -7 minutes behind LBHIFI who won and also several minutes behind bobinski, Rick, jonbon and Bill. My HR was 5-10 bpm higher in every race back then too

Show off

Actually that's a pretty impressive improvement in 6 months Paul. I suspect you have peaked though....

Its the relative position compared to front runner of last year which is impressive. 10th to lead rider, which we now must improve to catch. Trainerroad/sufferfest here I come

How is that showing off? - I was showing how mediocre I used to be at this! If I was showing off I'd have put one of these after it :becool:

It's been a gradual improvement over 11 months, although I do seem to level out and then make sudden steps forward in fitness every now and then. I think a lot of us will have made similar improvements since starting on the Bkool - I came along when the likes of you, Bill, Rick, LBHIFI etc had already been using it and improving for a while though, so I've had more room for initial improvement since last December than those of you who were already at it

^_^

The thing that is impressive about your improvement Paul though is that you got the hang of best set up pretty quick so the increase in watts per kilo is nearly all down to effort. And that is apparently without structured training. So, although I want to continue to take the pi$$ and wind you up I will give you a grudging :notworthy:

I prefer it when you're taking the pi$$ to be honest!

I've only improved because it annoys you when I beat you :okay:
