Well that nearly killed me. Breedon you were just too fast, and Tommy I was really suffering staying with you and when you decided to leave me behind near the end there was nothing I could do about it but continue at the same pace. The Stig has obviously recovered from his summer off and is back on the pace.

In the spirit of full disclosure I stood up for the last mile and a half virtually none stop. I've never really got it to work for me in the past but you were moving away from me on the steeper bits so I instinctively got out of my saddle. It worked so I stuck with it. Completely buried myself in the process... good ride all, well done breedon!

They were all from Yeovil, they don't know any better!
Not that far from where I live ... want me to pop over and have a word with them :gun: Our neighbours call that particular town Yobvil ... can't say I know it that well but I have a feeling me neighbours are a smidge snobby

Lol, that was EXTREME showing off. I wasn't going that fast before or after I overtook you. It's just when I saw you I put my foot down....I think that burst of energy contributed quite heavily towards my demise! That'll bloody teach me!
I held back a bit and drafted with Noah once I knew that you was closing in. I figured the pace you was catching me, if I saved a bit I could draft you for maybe a minute or two before you dropped me. That plan went to cock as you flew past me  I wasn't expecting that and there was no way I could get on your wheel :B)

Looks like I should have started an hour later, didn't expect so much fun on a Sunday!

I don't ever remember so much turbo fun on a Sunday, although "fun" wasn't the first word that sprung to mind during that ride. Trouble is it's too close to the Saturday fun to have fully recovered for those of us who need a decent recovery time. Probably going to need to try and man up a bit if this is going to be a regular occurrence.

I blame Monte

He should of known suggesting a relaxed paced Sunday ride last week would dissolve into a full on sufferfest within 7 days.
