You'll have to join us for the Double Devil!Bl**dy hell, I've just seen that I have jumped to Active 9
Gents, I can assure you no biological or mechanical doping is taking place
I would just like to give a massive thank you to those of you who give up time to set up and run the leagues and also everyone on here for making the community what it is. I'm really enjoying being part of it.
It sounds like a bloomin Oscar speech but I haven't won anything but importantly it's true and I believe you should always thank others when you can
I was going to wait for him as I figured we could have paced each other through but one minute he's behind me, the next gone! Shame as I was struggling big time and needed help.@Soarerv8 kept appearing and disappearing like Mr Ben
I wasn't really worried too much before but I am now. I am going to look again at my set up and try and reduce the movement of the turbo. It may be a q of technique. A stronger core might reduce my lateral movement otherwise known as flailing under pressureHow do the rest of you avoid sideways movement? I know Bkool introduced the extended legs because the turbo was unstable under load but I am not convinced they are long enough or solid and heavy enough.
I am increasingly cynical about bkools ability to overhaul and improve the user experience of the software and so when my subscription runs out I am not likely to renew. I love the racing and the crack with you guys and would really miss it and may buy the occasional month to take part. But I also enjoy Zwift and find the user experience much more satisfying. And Sufferfest. So if I get a kickr I won't lose out too much for too long and in the meantime will just have to try harder when using Bkool. Also the latest Bkool updates may mean there is less difference than before. I think migration to ant+fec has removed some of the differences. There is only one way to find out. I am waiting to see if Friday produces any kickr deals.
Ahhh... This sounds very similar to mine LB! Thought I was dreaming it but on flat I'm comfortable(ish) with keeping up but like you say once it's a minor hill gradient I drop back like someone's dropped an anchor.Bill, I'm no longer the one to chase. I have problems with massive underread on the 1-6% sections, up to 50 watt in Chaingang stage 3. This stage ended with the same avg. watt as my BePros.
I should be glad that Bkool finally got realistic, but the way it does it means that I get dropped on the climbs and therefore can't benefit from draft on the flat sections.
Are you still on trainers and flat pedals Whorty? If so I suspect moving to clipless would make a massive difference and make you even more of a machine up hills. You'll still be in front of me in the team white train after last night's ride. I remember when I did that course last time I wasn't a fan - too much undulation and gear changing and I can't get into a rhythm. I lose so much speed and power when changing gears - probably because I end up in the wrong one and either spun with no power or grinding get tired! Need to practice more methinks!!
Am thinking of Zwift too to be honest really unimpressed with the latest version of BKool and like Bob if it wasn't for this forum would definitely have moved over there wholesale.I wasn't really worried too much before but I am now. I didn't get an email yet.... Did you not challenge my ghost?Completed state1 of the goats league last night, it certainly gave me more motivation using ghosts within the ride and I got the results to prove it. I still find it very hard on anything above 7% and my speeds go blue...
Got some very sore legs this morning.
still cant add ghosts ! chose a ride that i knew had ghosts ( if i put in my rides - i can chose me 6 times i think ) but if i click ignore me then the spinning cog just hangs there - left it for a hour just to make sure
really getting fed up - any ideas ?
by the way - there is 4460 ish ghosts for this ride ! just dont know whats going on
Yes, no ghosts for me either. Another Bkool problem yet again...Berty I found the ride you posted and it doesn't load 'Ghosts'
You've jinxed me, my ghost wont load up now
Email to Bkool again I think, its broken
