Monte it took nearly 24hours the last time Bkool failed to upload my ride. I can say that mine did upload successfullyfrom bsim, but was glacial in appearing in my history.

My session hasn't loaded from the bsim - are you saying it can take 24hrs to load from the bsim ??? Or 24hrs after the session uploaded from the bsim ?

Similar problem I lost Tuesday evening's ride. Not that this is a great loss to humanity or the Guinness Book of great cycling rides to be honest.

I did one of the Bkool workout sessions last night. Of course being the village idiot I got it wrong, saw a line that I thought I needed to stay above during the warmup stage. Pedalled like the clappers and thought to myself this is really painful, turns out I spent the 10 minute warmup trying to match an FTP of 250. When it then kicked into the plan I realised there was a section much lower down that I was supposed to have been working to stay in. I probably picked a workout that was too easy but turned it into a spinning course trying to keep my cadance over 100 and just dropping down gears to stay in the power zone it wanted.
Anyway does anyone have any clue how to set up your own workout sessions? I have looked around the website and it is as helpful as ever at hiding these things.

Rarely my rides load up from Bsim the first time I try to save. I will try twice to see if it will upload, then if it does not, I will close Bsim, restart it, it then always uploads pending rides.
If it didn't upload and Bsim cant find it as a pending, then it looks like its gone into the ether. Annoying:angry:

Ok Bill, now you know first hand what I mean by getting dumped on the hills. I tried to get some drafting going, but I don't blame you for leaving me behind on the hills. The typical scenario would be me pumping out well ower 300 watts, but Bkool, totally out of generosity :reading:, rewarding me with a meager 240-ish watts :B).
For the first time Bkool averaged lower than my BePros (268 watt vs 280 watt)
Lars, have you changed your setup in any way? As your speed does seem to be down - almost the complete opposite of what was happening with your rides a few weeks ago when you thought you were going unrealistically fast? Do you think you may have a problem with your trainer? Or am I missing something about how you now have it set up (I'm a bit confused by what you're saying about the watts, other than you're comparing real watts from your BePros to the Bkool calculation of watts)

Monte, I think you said to me last night that it was showing as a "Failed Session" in the Sim settings (but not as a "completed sessions remaining to send". Has anyone else managed to recover a ride that showed as a "Failed Session" like this?

Hi Soarer, I wanted a structured program based on my ability, which would lead me by the nose so to speak. Lazy I know. TrainerRoad, gets you to do a FTP test, then sets up all the rides based around this number, you work through them as recommended, 3 times a week or more if you pick a higher intensity workload.

I looked at Zwift, which has a workout plan(pay after free period) but it was mentioned that it was too easy for the first part. I checked out Bkool workout, this looks like you have to schedule all your own workouts( requires you to determine your plan), free since you're already a member. They all do the same, but TrainerRoad leads you.

This is my last ride I did on TR, it was quite demanding in the last interval, even though its all below FTP

A friend who lives near the route we did last night (and spotted it on Strava) has told me the ride we did was basically a one way ride to a pub.

Now if only we'd known that last night I'm sure there would have been some extra motivation going up that final hill! I fear it may have been just as much a motivation for AAAC as for me, so I still probably wouldn't have benefited! At least AAAC would have had to get the first round in though

Next ride starts by necking 3 pints then the route in reverse?:hyper::popcorn:

I've received the dreaded email response from BKOOL - looks like I have lost the ride... @BILL S can you help if I do a quick ride and give you my actual times from my Garmin.

Monte, I had a similar experience with a ride last week. It eventually uploaded despite Bkool telling me I had exhausted all attempts. Strangely, when I logged on yesterday, despite me having no outstanding uploads I was again warned that I had exhausted all attempts to upload.

Lars, I think you mean that I was dumping you on the hills last night, which seemed to be the case during the ride. However the stats say I was making 10 watts more but that you were making slightly more w/kg than me. You are still perhaps not back to full fitness after your injury.
Back in the good old days before the new updates we both used to be putting in a fight for the front but those days are gone now. Whatever caused this seems to have done the same to us both. From my point of view I'm thinking it's more realistic for me now as I had super powers before and now its just plain old me. Having ridden with Bridgy in real life I think the difference between us now is justified and it's a reflection on real life watts rather than massive sling shots that used to give me an advantage. I think the rides are harder now as there's no rest even down hills as no matter what the gradient you just slow down if you stop pedalling. I'm happy with the new order of things though and as AAAC said, it's the racing that's the important thing and it's as tough as it ever was.
I'm not sure if you're highlighting a separate problem Lars or if you have just been brought back down to earth with a thud like me because of the updates.

@BILL S - I'm starting to come to the conclusion that I have lost last night live session - I have sent bkool the report but I'm not going to hold my breath. If I go into the course and ride a bit and manage to save it, can I give my times from my Garmin can you update - they aren't going to be brilliant I just can face doing that course again in anger, I found it very hard.

Monte, it's no problem to do that. Just put in the short ride and let me know the correct time.
Last nights ride was dodgy from the start but hopefully just a one off.
