Yep, this describes exactly what I get too - kind of used to it now!

bridgy, that makes your rides all the more impressive. I don't have your power or stamina to ride through these foibles. Its a shame, because as we saw with the summer cup, it is difficult to know whether the interaction of software and turbo's means some rides are less accurate than others.
I have just done this ride and blue numbers nearly all the way except on the 5% bits:

I wasn't going for it by any means but surprising all the same.
I shall redo it on the Neo!

I assume we all get similar. I try not to over analyse what's going on and just keep pushing on.
.

NEWS FLASH
BSim Is not ready for VR Headsets.
I had to put my gels inside the headset so I could find them.
When I looked behind I was still going forwards and that just made me dizzy and then a Gel poked me in the eye so I had to get off of my bike which was a disaster as well cause I caught my leg on the real cross bar that virtualy wasn't there.

I assume we all get similar. I try not to over analyse what's going on and just keep pushing on.

Analysis:
They have put a delay in the gradient condition changes for resistance to make it more 'realistic' and this occurs on +ve to -ve transitions as well so you are virtualy riding the course a few seconds ahead. If the condition changes again in the delay period it starts over and may therefore miss out some gradients altogether and just work around the speed you are doing at the time the transition starts. Net result is that us quicker guys get to iron out more lumps than the slower guys and as a result go even quicker.
If you are stonking downhill and hit a short 0℅ then transition into a climb before the transition delay time ends it forgets your on a 0% and delays the onset of gradient resistance from your 'stonking downhill' conditions so you may then fly over a small lump at in excess of 50 kph. Keep up the speed and cadence over several more transitions and you have completed a couple of km at 56 kph before anything changes.
Net result is big time gaps between the fast and not so fast which would otherwise have been smaller.
Add a bit of Fastboy team drafting and your cooking on gas!

PS. Must turn off predicative sex.

Edit. Productive rest

AAAC, whether that was a result of productive rest, productive sex or predictive text/sex it sounds all too feasible. Must find more power!

Was all set for a road ride today but it's a bit damp and the turbo looked so much more inviting ^_^. Just re done the second chain-gang ride using a few ghosts for encouragement:whistle:. Was 4 minutes quicker which I was really pleased with:dance:...
...until I realized it hasn't registered as a league ride :banghead::cursing:. Does anyone know if it can be added?

Too late now. No evidence you really did it

p.s. I think if you do a short league ride and let @BILL S know your time he will adjust accordingly ^_^

Scheduling rides is still buggered for me. I can challenge a ride and nothing shows, but even for the rides that are showing I don't have the ability Edit - so can't add ghosts. Anyone else got this bug? Seems to have been introduced a couple of weeks ago and still there. Very annoying.

Yes, it does show up in Bsim though.
If you click copy instead of challenge then it will show up on the website.

Im in no fit state to do a goat ride, managed to get out and do a proper ride other than a commute and did 66 miles with what I did yesterday as well im pretty knackered but in a good way.
Good luck with your rerun feel free to use my ghost :okay:

I'm hoping your ghost can draft me up to @Soarerv8 then I can hold on to his coat tails for the rest of the ride :okay: Any time within 5 mins of Soarerv will be an improvement for me - not sure I can average the 36.2 km that he managed yesterday but I'll try. Off now to have a bash :bicycle::bicycle:

The thing is it's so hard - impossible actually - to know if we're all having the same experience with regards the resistance on our trainers - I suspect not, but who knows?!

I think there's an element of the way it working suiting different people's riding style and fitness strengths/weaknesses better than others - we saw this with the firmware change a few months back.

At the end of the day I try not to think about it too much and just get on with it as for me it's a bit of fun and friendly competition which has the added benefit of keeping me fit!
