One day (in the dim and distant future) we should set aside a day for as many of us as possible to attempt a bkool Everest. Pick our rides in advance and the first to finish the ride starts the next one and the others join it and so on...

Great idea

Agree with dropping the goats league too. I'll continue to do hill climbs but I won't miss racing up them!

HI Bill

Is there any chance a run on Thursday morning can count as my time as I will be away from Thursday afternoon to Monday? I take it that the run has to be done from the league tab?

No problem DP. Just start the ride from the league tab and it will appear in the results or at least appear in the rides to be approved. Chaingang rides can be run anytime that the stage is open and can be done individually or in a group.

I'm thinking of not running the Mountain Goat league after this one for that same reason. 3 or 4 leagues plus re-runs is all a bit too much. If anyone wants to continue it I'd be happy to add them to admin so they can set up and continue to run the league. I must admit to having a little more motivation for the other leagues.

It' a good league and I enjoy it but not many people use it unfortunately, if you decide to finish it then by all means do as you have enough to do with the chaingang.

I've put a route in Bkool called 'Everest' as a warm up if anyone wants. Its only 21.1km long with 3.8km in height gain; starting around base camp and finishing somewhere just below the summit. Looks nice and easy with an average 17.89% gradient maxing at 50%.
The wearing of a full down suit is mandatory as well as oxygen masks...

Bill, that's sounds very sensible given that everyone's energies seem to be focused on the other leagues. An Everest
Attempt sounds like a bonkers but strangely intriguing alternative! In the meantime I will pick some mountain rides and let everyone know when I will ride them just in case anyone wants to join in, though not race.

I'm with @TurboTommy sounds rather punishing but strangely fun.
