I have just done sc6 it's just how I like them ...

I know you like the hills Ryan but I suspect you've never ridden a flat ride with 120psi in your tyres.

I have 7 bar in my tyres I think that is about 120 psi . I done the flat course at the weekend but could not get anywhere near your ghost . I tried to get tucked in behind u right from the start but had no chance ...

Anyone up for doing the Summer Cup tomorrow? With those hills we'll need to be in the best shape possible which would be tomorrow rather than Thursday. CG will be another flat one.
Can't I'm afraid as I'll not be home in time ... hoping to do the SC live on Thursday at 7

The above one at least has decent wheels and tyres but doesn't have a rider on it to distract from what it really is. I love some of the modern retros and I'd be very tempted for old times sake if I could justify the expense. Not that I really enjoy biking any more and unfortunately I'd not be allowed to keep it in the living room where it'd really belong.
This is what I'd have given the choice:

I used to lust after suzuki gt250s when I was a teenager. Good thing I didn't get one or I'd probably not be here today. Even better that I didn't have the money for a z650.

Oddly enough, according to
http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/kawasaki/kawasaki_z650 78.htm
my 1978 model, the Z650 B2 was just as powerful as the 2017 model give or take 1hp but it also says it could do 155 mph but it also says 186 kph which is 115 mph so I assume the 155 is a typo. Mind you it got a lot closer to that once Peckett and Mcnab had had their hands on the motor.
Consumption was about 50 mpg average, if I ever rode it averagely.

I used to chase Porsche 911's on the autobahns after the P&M conversion but I was still shy of about 20 mph top end if they chose to challenge me.

Took my motorcycle licence on a bike just like that - on the motorway with a no-visor helmet in a hail storm ..ouch :B).
The instructor called me a chicken for not going the full 110 km/h, but AAAC have you tried it on the motorway? It simply hasn't got the power to do that when you have a storm right in your face. I had to lie down on the tank to get there.

Well, TT race this saturday and I'm now on my third week out of the saddle due to a really nasty flu . Not really any point in having any goals longer. I may participate if the weather is not too bad and my lungs are not hurting like they do right now.
