I was quite enjoying the session up until the battery died on me. It took a while to realise that I was riding with a real person. Perhaps I should have paid a bit more attention to the meaning of "ghost" i.e. you can see through them!
Deffo plugging the laptop in next time I use it. Funnily enough I usually use my tablet which has a four hour battery life (but not such a good wifi strength) and I've managed to do a 2 hour session with it on Bkool without eating the battery. This time I borrowed my Wife's laptop, hadn't realised that the battery would only last as long as it did.
@BILL S Apologies for not lasting the course but I did have a bit of a sweat on by the time I'd finished. May need to invest in a third fan.

Regards

Dave

Ooh, I’ll have to update mine ready for the winter! It’s sat in the garage unused for the last year, but I may give it a tentative go over winter, now I can manage to average 180 real watts up the merry harriers, without busting my heart rate limit!

Is there enough demand to restart the handicap races in a month, when the clocks go back, or is everyone planning on the winter cup and chain gang?

Geoff

I'm in and never going to the dark side.

Yet!

I love the handicap races - if we have enough people to make it worthwhile I'll definitely be up for it :okay:

I've just about got the IOW video to upload for YouTube. It's 56 mins long edited down. I haven't overlaid music(I think I can if requested), just clips of the more interesting points of the ride(boring for everyone who didn't come on the ride). Notable points are little digs on short climbs early on, military road and 'Bobs Hill', notorious accident spot:whistle:
Oh and the Needles, give a good indication of the types of roads and views from all around the island.
