Or is it 5pm warmup?
Got it - I had it in my head it was 5pm start
Or is it 5pm warmup?
Can you collect me & Brusgaard too please. We need to sort out this new upstart @perswe![]()
I'm in, aiming for a sub 30 minutes ride. But I guess that would take some drafting. :-)
Well, mission accomplished (barely) despite many freezes in BSim. ;-(
That felt hard going today. Thanks AAAC for dropping back and giving me a tow back up to Bill with 3.5 mile to go - I was starting to struggle there. Still didn't have anything left for the final 500m though
Well done Bill - that was a strong finish![]()
You're not kidding @gbrown !!! On the Pro in Bkool I could get up Alpe, Mont Vontoux, Col du Telegraphe and a few other big climbs. On the kickr, in BRVR I'm having to stop for breathers every 1km and tonight only made 35 mins, and 5 km, up a climb. Feels so much closer to what I'm like in the real world. The KICKR certainly helped my climbing back in 2014/15, I came on much faster than with the Bkool Pro, which I think just didn't give enough resistance on the steep gradients, I could just over power the resistance and hence did not get enough of a work out.
Hopefully you'll find the same...
P.S. I think the very fact that you're willing to switch from a Pro to a KICKR and accept the inherent disadvantages shows you have your competitive side under control!![]()
It beat me up good and proper tonightThat kicker at the end is quite cruel
