That was sheer competitive energy did that. I actually quit twice, then thought NO.....1 second dammit....luckily with the freewheeling I didn't lose much ground, and with the rest, put out about 400watts for about 15 seconds and caught up again.
I have NEVER sweated and ached so much. It was the 1 second that did it....

To here anyways, the Leagues are good fun, not at all competitive. Geoff is the one to speak to. The Goats might be a leap too far, post op and all, maybe aspire to that in a month or two. But hell, that's your call.

You increase your watts per kg, there is a table on the Bkool blog https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/team-bkool-cyclechat.144689/page-308

Essentially just increase the power output either on an ftp test (20 minutes) or any ride over 30 minutes.

Either do an FTP test, which you can set up from your profile page, under Fitness Level, or a lot of us find it easier on a steeper climb to get the power down. But then you have to do a 30 minute run instead of 20 minutes in an FTP test. Under Fitness Level it will tell you how many average watts you need to make to go up a ranking.
