@Brusgaard have any of your friends reported a lag with the pro trainer since the new firmware/software update please? I’m experiencing around a 4 second lag response in the trainer.. very frustrating..

Yes, quite a few have reported that. The beta is now at 5.05, but with no Bkool Pro I can not test if that one works better.

I've got a pro and don't seem to be able to start anywhere near as fast as before and I'm getting dropped at the start every time. There's a lag after I start pedaling until I start to move on the screen. I used to be one of the fastest starters and I'm putting out the same effort as before, with the same technique.

There is a lag with the Neo as well, but not as much as there used to be. Then again my Neo was/is faster than my Direto was at the start. I used to be one of the faster starters too, as you could work up som crazy RPMs on the roller which BSIM translated to speed. After leveling the trainer field, i.e. (rightfully) slowing the Pro down at the start, I'm still an OK fast starter. Riding on Zwift, you HAVE to work hard to get with the group once the flag drops, and that helps I think.

You can see my trainer lag in the videos on my YouTube channel, both on the Direto, the Neo/BSIM4 and Neo/BSIM5.

Thanks.

If you hear of a solution or whether the beta works, can you let me know please? The alternative is to contact our friends Bkool. 😬

Hello people,

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place and started a new discussion

Just thought id ask as ive recently discovered the delights of smart turbo training and subscribe to the excellent bkool.
Looking at your threads i see you have some kind of riding events a couple of times a week. Can anyone join? or do you need to be invited.
I've done a few of the routes on the app, but think it would be fun to try and do a weekly thing. I can't really get out with my local club rides now so was looking into joining a group.
Any ideas how i could do that and maybe embarrass myself on a group ride by getting dropped?

So about the long waffling

Join the Chain Gang group here https://my.bkool.com/group/show/72022 - and be ready to race at Thursdays 6 PM and Saturdays at 5 PM UK, which is a re-run of Thursday's ride with that ride's ghosts added.

We are using the Bkool league system, so you are free to ride the stages when (and as many times as) you like. But it's better for all, if you do the live sessions. :okay:

Don't worry about being dropped, we all get dropped by someone at some point.

Welcome. It is cool to get to know who you're racing online against. To help ease into this group it would be nice if you make sure you finish in last place for the first few months so you don't look like a show off. Also to help us get to know you better you could post your credit card info and password to your Amazon account.
If you notice I'm still being very polite and finishing in last place even after many years. I would hate to be considered a show off.

Again welcome and see you in BKOOL.

Mark, welcome to the group. I'm the current admin and I'll approve your request to join the league, if I haven't already done so. Unlike most bkool leagues we have a social side via our contributions here which are about anything and nothing and complaining about whoever it was who dropped you 1km before the end of the ride like the bastard they are! We really like people to make a contribution here. As @Brusgaard said we ride together twice a week. I start the Thursday ride, log in to the simulator and search for me using the filter in the pop out panel on the left and then join that ride. I start it at 19:00cet, 18:00uk time and you can join any time in the next ten minutes. Don't worry if you get it wrong the dust time, we all did! Somebody else starts the Saturday ride as I'm usually out in the real world. Check here to see who it is this week.
Great to have you on board.
