Sorry @keithaitch ! I won’t be there either. On the bus back home this evening. Might do it tomorrow or Sat.As it's Thursday I'll be starting it tonight, if anybody is riding, if not I might just have some more chocolate!
Have just done last week‘s Arreige route after recovering from a bit of illness, so won’t push it tonight. Heart rate hit 196 which is a bit alarming! Came down after when I got into my rhythm but more chocolate is prescribed now! I’ll be there on Saturday. As it's Thursday I'll be starting it tonight, if anybody is riding, if not I might just have some more chocolate!
Me also!I will not be riding, tummy too full 😂.
freudian slipMe too! I think discretion is the far better part of Valor I feel a bit puny after various hard days of tandem and solo riding. A nice glass of local French red will do me fat more good than a 30kms slog in a freezing garage. That said I'll be there on Saturday too!
Btw next Monday 30/12 at 18:00cet, 17:00 UK time for pratting about in the velodrome.
you certainly set a tough target for @Lloyd62. Udolino will probably do it in 25. I'll take a stab at it in an hour or so, although I'm expecting a more modest result at around 53-55 mins. Avg 40 on that route is out of the question.Stage 4 done, but I'll be back tomorrow for another 47 minutes of unrelenting rolling terrain, never so steep you don't think you can't just push it over the top. Result, totally knackered.
I'll be there although with some trepidation: @keithaitch managing 305W is daunting. Dunno if I can compete with that.....or whether I want to! I see you, @Lloyd62 and Iain (right?) have done the first BWC19/20 stages. I'll jump on that train in January to catch up. repeating last year with top page end result will be difficult now that the bkool trainer advantage is gone....or maybe it's just me...Is a page 2 finish feasible? Perhaps. Hopefully the murderous stages in the November and December leagues (thanks keith!) will have provided something to lean on. Or maybe it was just pain for pleasure.
