Thanks for the great drafting help for the first part Brusgaard & Andy. It was a lonely ride on Thursday as all the quick guys left me at the start but this time I got a better start and what a difference. I learned that its dangerous to get in front as the quicker guys behind can speed past and then you cant get back in the draft. I was saved by @perswe though (much appreciated ) as he collected me a short time after I was dumped by the front runners. End result: More than half a minute quicker than Thursday.

Good ride, thanks for the tow @Brusgaard 24secs off my Thursday time. ^_^

It was fun to chat a little with @perswe on discord audio though we didn't talk much in the ride.
I think it would work better if we were going a bit easier or if we had teams and were working on strategies.:okay:

This is a great initiative Andy...you're in charge of getting us all up and chatting and laughing at me as you gang up and drop me on a descent!

You’re welcome @AndyMacca. We could have gone faster, but with @BILL S in the mix, I had to make sure, we didn’t tow him to the line AND beat the Thursday time. Once he started to go out the back, I did speed up to drop him. :becool:
But not long after I remembered that you too weren’t too far behind in the rankings, and I just kept up with you and not trying to pull too much. Sorry - not sorry - for being tactical.

Forgot all about the Discord thing, and the iPhone in the pain cave didn’t have it installed, and I couldn’t remember the password. Will try to be there next time!

Sorry for being away recently. Not felt great so did some other rides as you lot would kill me in a race. Will try and do a ride tomorrow evening if you guys are arranging one..
Stay safe everyone
Which route are you thinking. I need to do stage 2 of Flanders at some point and all this month's league rides. Lucky I have some time coming up.
I do have stage 2 of Flanders scheduled for tomorrow I think

Thanks @AndyMacca for setting up the discord. Talking during the race is a challenge but talking during the minutes before the start and after the finish does add something to it I think. I guess you can’t be too many on the radio at the same time though. Perhaps different channels pre-set for various clusters would work (depending on the type of stage). For instance I would have loved to talk to @BILL S about taking turns ^_^ as I finally managed to catch up. On the flats I think that could be an interesting feature. @AndyMacca yes not a lot of talking downhill but still we did manage to talk a bit at least , which I think added something fresh to it all.

Haha yes I was trying to avoid taking turns and I think you know why. Works well on the flat but when disadvantaged on the downhill it means only one thing.
When towed by @Brusgaard I knew every second of it was hurting him and he'd be trying to drop me. I wouldnt expect anything less of course and would always try to do the same to him .
