Thanks for the encouragement mid-race! I was really feeling it at that point!
Heat wasnt too bad where I was but just too many top riders showed up so I wasnt even in the top ten!
CORRECTION: out of 30 finishers I placed 4th overall. Beat by a pro and two other active riders. Much better than I thought!

Sure. How about Geoff's Cothelstone ride tomorrow7/4 at 6 pm your time ? (9am Alaska time). It should cool off a little for you by then. Ill start the warm up at 6 and stop peddling with 2 minutes left.Randy. Are you going to hold your own Sitka chain gang stage? I'll put up with the heat if you are![]()

Can anyone else make it?
I will not make any reference to the holiday here.
So I get two emails saying I've been challenged and beaten! Thanks guys.Strong work, Bill. I would say it's time to take the cone off.
Great race.
Thanks.
Thanks Randy. You're right I probably should take the cone offStrong work, Bill. I would say it's time to take the cone off.

Enjoy guys! . It's too hot and no fan and a poor wifi signal in the coolest part of the house make bkool a difficult prospect. Managed a sufferfest using 4g over the phone in the garden shade and it linked via strava into bkool! No heart rate or cadence data but good enough.
@ Bill, I'm putting myself up as head goat after completing my Everesting challenge yesterday, bloody hell it was hard
