I'm on an old gaming laptop but still runs on highest settings along with rgt full with 60fps.
You have to be really picky when choosing a "cheap tablet". If doing (BKOOL) rides with many riders, the "cheap"/standard iPads for instance doesn't quite cut it because of too little memory. The iPad Pros should be fine, but you can buy a really descent gaming PC or laptop for the same price!
Choosing the right one between the 135.342 different models of Android tablets would be a nightmare too!
Using a tablet would probably also require the trainer to support BLE, and I'm not sure
@AAAC 76C 's does that. A PC would allow/support both BLE and ANT+FE-C and run most - if not all simulators.
