That's the problem with league runs. You can't modify them. You just have to pick out someone of similar ability to challenge from the league results. ill be challenging someone tonight in order to get a stage done.

Maybe there is a way to add multiple competitors/ghosts but I'm not aware of it!

Edit:Rob what's your username on bkool til I add you as a friend?

Add me as a friend rob, I'm just a beginner on the bkool trainer. I'm no match for Rick and Bill and the rest just yet.
By the way guys, add me as a friend if ya like.
I'll try and compete, I won't hold my breath tho, but at least it'll give me something to aim for.

Don't worry about ability. You'll climb quicker than you think! I did some mountain biking years ago but nothing serious. Took up road biking in Oct and at first was producing about 175 watts average on here. We all start somewhere!! There's always someone similar to race!

Rob cant find you on Bkool! If you can add me RickB.

Aargh, Third time I have filmed the same route and the third time it's been rejected because of 'excessive vignetting'
I believe it's an automated system that checks, the video is fine but some sections are down narrow country lanes with 6foot high foliage either side. The setting on the Virb Elite are the same for each video I have recorded but only this route keeps on getting rejected.
Anyone else had similar issues?

Bkool, I need your help please.

Attempted Teknikparken Hagasröm in the summer Bkool league and managed to complete 6.1 miles before a box appeared on the screen asking if I wished to end the ride with no option other than yes. I have had this happen on a couple of rides but only seems to occur once I hit a steep decent. This is the first time I've reported it as now its effecting rides within leagues which will make it pointless me riding league sessions.

Hopefully you have a fix for this, pretty frustrated.

You both did better than me, 5:34 moving, my excuse is food poisoning picked up via a bit of undercooked chicken on Saturday. I struggled to keep any food down on Sunday during the ride.

Similar thing happened to me once, went out the night before and ended up poorly. Didn't take that chance last weekend cooked up a nice pasta sauce.

We have a few tech people on this forum - i'm after some guidance.

I like to use a HR monitor when doing training rides, work within specific zones etc... but i'm struggling with my garmin HR strap, keep losing the connection. Does anyone else bother with a HR monitor and if so do you have any tips ??? Is it better for me to put my Garmin on the bike and use the HR reading through Garmin rather than BKOOL.

Sorry Monte, cant really offer any advise - I've used my Garmin strap a few times on Bkool and never had a drop out with it.

Only the league admin can setup a stage with multiple ghosts/bots, I posted here many months ago with some details.

It is possible to get multiple ghosts another way, if you challenge someone who challenges someone else, you get both ghosts! Repeat ad infinitum ...

My Garmin works perfectly but you have to wet your skin first. before putting it on. Note, wet your skin where the sensors will sit, not the strap. What I usually do is wet my hands, wipe it across the front of my chest, put the strap in place and then quickly dry above and below the strap. I did get some special gel but found the water worked fine anyway.

I do use a polar soft strap with the Garmin HRM, as the bundled garmin strap was unreliable, inside or outside. The later Garmin straps have improved and my wife's works fine.

I recently bought an optical bluetoooth/ANT+ HRM with arm strap, the Scosche Rythm+ (http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/05/scosche-antbluetooth-optical.html) which works well with the KICKR as it allows me to pick up the Heart Rate on both the Garmin and the iPhone Wahoo Fitness app. I put it around my arm, just above the elbow and it seems to agree with the chest strap (I have tried using both). Not quite as convenient as the battery lasts no where near as long.

Edit: Both the Garmin and Rhythm+ work fine with Bkool with no drops at all.

Thanks Geoff. They don't sell the Bkool HR over here and earlier there were some discussions about the Garmin ANT + interfering so this looks good.

My Garmin HRM works well with the Bkool it does seem more accurate and stable now I've updated the firmware in the trainer not sure why ! Unless the signal from HRM goes through the trainer and then to the dongle ? Thought it went straight to the dongle. Maybe a new battery in the HRM might improve it .
