Good idea Ray. I know we did that once last time and it was Huez as a handicap race. I like the idea of a mass goat climb though, one day a week if we have time. I usually try to do the bkool facebook races on Tuesdays but don't know if that will continue every week. If I can't start it off no reason someone else can't.
No way you'll earn the Lanterne Rouge shirt this year:smile:

Sorry didn't make it last night. By the time i got home and got everything setup was after 7. Had my first ride which was good really impressed with it so looking forward to getting started on the mountain goat league over the weekend.

How do i do the first ride so that it is included as part of the league? Is it just a case of being in the software and going to league and starting the ride? Thanks

Yep, that'll do it plus when you look up the league and see other peoples times - you can challenge their rides and it'll count towards the league plus give you someone to chase!.

I asked Bkool if there would be a Winter League - Their reply:
'We are going to have a think about how we can organise it and hopefully very soon there will be a league you can join.'

That would be good - plenty of competition at all levels with a good variety of courses, if it's anything like last time. could do with some longer stages perhaps but overall it was excellent.

That first hill was a killer and Lars just wore me out on it, then on the last part of the last hill he tricked me into thinking I could catch him . That's what I get for my comment on the previous page I guess .
Sorry about that . I had some front derailleur problems. I saw you were getting close and pushed as hard as I could when the hill began to get steeper again.

I'm out Sat and Sun on the bike, but my time wouldn't be much of a baseline anyway.

I saw you ride last night on strava, impressively quick!

Cheers, there were 4 of us out practising lead outs for next year

That was a tough course!! - the usual view of Lars and Bill cycling off into the sunset - Darryn was pushing me hard but must have had a technical. he was destroying me on the climbs!

Good on Rob for persisting and finishing strong.
Yes, apparently when you remove your cranks to change the bottom bracket, one must also bolt the cranks back on afterwards... simply pushing them on is not sufficient...:cycle:
