Yes same here, I had to do an update also, luckily I had given myself enough time before the race to sort it, however it shortened my warm up time, and that is my excuse for riding badly and not beating Berty!

As some of you know, in the old days of Bkool and then zwift, I used to score performance related excuses out of 10.
Admittedly some people thought my scoring methods were a little harsh back then. Paralyisis was a 7/10. Pre race death was a solid 9/10. Seems fair right? 🤷♂️
Anyway I kind of retired from the excuse judgment business a while ago (It’s really not as glamorous as it appears from the outside). But using that as a guide, I think it’s safe to assume not much gets a score above 2 or 3.
And on that basis, I think we can safely score the update excuse, and the lack of warm up excuse above. A very generous 0 out of 10 👍
