The only condition for Chaingang (and mountain goat) membership is that they are active Cyclechat members -
Love to see more people signing up but want to keep the community spirit of giving help (and abuse) to each other.![]()
The 'abuse' comes from the rides you set in your league ... every time I complete one I feel like I've been personally abused and violated
Any other male riders get that numb feeling in the, erm, family area?!? After 2 hours in the saddle i sometimes have to check i'm still a man![]()

blame bill! He seems to enjoy the pain!
I think I feel a bit more numb on the trainer that in the real world as when on the roads I stand up more often which I feel helps with circulation.
Good to hear its working well. Looking forward to the race tomorrow.Well, after all my troubles with bkool recently and protracted update earlier I had 2 quick rides today that were issue free. Aprt from that 15% on Weston. Couldn't drop down on the front and came to a complete standstill I was in 50-16! Had to tease the chain down by dropping down gears on the back. User complete frigging error. But bkool worked fine and possibly higher power figures for perceived effort with th update. New tyre arrived so will try that tomorrow. Hope to be thee at 7pmfor encouragement and abuse!
Nice one. You're in Jerry. There's a race this Thursday at 7pm and then the league kicks in properly next week. Should be good craic!Jerry Paris, is me "Tincaman"
Generally everyone just goes buck mad from the start so we don't often get a chance to draft, but if you do its a great help.Hi guys,
I've not yet taken part in a proper Bkool race with other human riders. What can I expect?
Is there shelter in the Peleton?
Abuse for not taking a turn at the front?
Hope to see u at 7 tomorrow.
Thanks, Alan C

To be in one hell of a mess at the end...
Morning guys, looking for a bit of advice.
My laptop died last nite and don't wanna buy a new one at the moment as its getting close to Xmas so trying to keep a tight leash on my cash.
So I was wondering how the bkool pro with an iPad with the lightning connector? Would the dongle need to be as close to the unit as when I use my laptop?
Also what is the bsim like on iPad iOS?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Baz
Baz,
I used this combination for a while but moved to a laptop and attached monitor for a big scree experience. It worked fine most of the time IF wifi reception good. Bsim is fine on Ipad, touch scrolling is nice too. In fact its a shame Ipad isnt ant+ because it is quite a neat arrangement otherwise.
