Has anyone used the FE-C set up on their BKool trainer and tried to use Trainerroad
cos I tried it tonight just a trial to see if it would work because Trainerroad have it listed
as an ANT+ device now (you need to go into setup on the BKool sim, as you do for Zwift)
but it seems to be very hard work, I was in a very low gear to push 135 watts and was
still only doing about 55rpm cadence, just wondering if anyone else has tried it.

Oops my mistake , just went on the trainerroad website to the help centre and it shows how
to calibrate the BKool to work with Trainerroad ....... Durrrrr

Is it Col D' Aspin tomorrow night at 7 for the Thursday night race?

I was unable to get home at a sensible time tonight and jump on the trainer for an hour, but it looks as if I would have struggled going by previous posts.

This can be explained by the first 4 places in the first chain gang race. All 4 are different age groups. One is senior (less than 40 years old) one is veteran 1 (between 40 and 50) one is veteran 2 (between 50 and 60) and one is veteran 3 (over 60.)
They all finished with 25 minutes but almost 12 seconds apart. Which to me means either age is not a big deal or, as us older guys think, this younger generation is lazy.

Frigging right too!

It still doesn't work properly with TR. there is a long thread on their forum and they hope to have it working properly soon.

Tomorrow nights Chain Gang race at 7pm is La Vuelta 2014 E20. Col D'Aspin is the Mountain Goats.

Hopefully the leagues sessions will be working by then for Rick to start it. The rest of us will be looking for it under the Live tab.

Is the league tab still out of action? I'm sure it'll be sorted by tomorrow.

La Vuelta 2014 E20

Look out for it on the live tab. type 'Rick' into the advanced search on the session search if you cant spot it in the Live listings.

Full 10 minute warm up to allow as many to join as possible so race starts at 7:10.

password will be 'chain' if required

Similarly. I'm back home tomorrow and will knock out a ride or two (rather than work for the afternoon). Kev's got the time to beat!

Waddled out to the garage last night and bravely decided to have a stab at the La Vuelta 2014 E20 stage 2 so I could follow all of your ghosts down the road. Thought I was heroic to start with as I ended up at the front but as it was down hill for the first couple of miles turns out I am not heroic just fat and then when it went uphill the truth came out.

Anyway I finally finished it and when I go to look at the results it tells me mine isn't uploaded as my weight isn't coherent?

I have been called incoherent many times in my life but my mass hasn't, any ideas?

Thanks.

Mine does that on league rides too, just needs an admin to approve it.

I think its because I joined leagues before I had a smart turbo then finished updating profile info, so my weight has changed

Hi guys,

I asked in another thread but didn't get much response, so I will try here...

I have just bought a Bkool Pro the resistance seems to be very close to expectations for me when climbing.

The issue I do have though is that when I am on cycling on a flat part of a course, I am almost in my highest gear. The perceived effort seems to correlate to the correct speed compared to my experience on the road but I am in a much higher gear, which means on any slight descent I am spinning out in my highest gear at 200w!

Anybody else have this problem?

I'll try to be there with a new conti GP4000 S tire, just to make absolutely sure that my power loss problem is not tire related. I may bail out before finish though, as I have to tuck the kids into bed.
